Part of me hopes MLB crumbles... can you believe a monopoly crumbling under it's own stupidity... it would be glorious... But also, for the sake of creators who work from MLB based content (and also because maybe that's Manfred's plan, maybe he's working in conjunction with Roger Goodell), maybe they just scrap the commissioner and put in someone who... likes their customers.

Why isn't Duran respected more? I agree he should be an all-star this year, but it's easy to see why he isn't getting votes. First, he's relatively young and doesn't have a long track record of playing at an all-star level, and second, he's playing for a Red Sox team that no one's been paying a lot of attention to this year since they weren't expected to be any good at the start of the season. And while they've been better than expected all year, it's only pretty recently that they've started to consistently play like more than a mediocre team. Even Duran, while he's been great all year, has bumped up his numbers recently. (Though he was already playing very well, so the team's improvement is more due to the rookies Rafaela and Hamilton starting to figure it out and the return of O'Neil and Abreu.) It's not too surprising that no one outside of Boston has really noticed what he's doing yet. Hopefully he will make the all-star team even if the fans don't vote him in, but next year (assuming he's able to keep this up, and I think he can) will be the year that it would be a complete joke if he doesn't get more notice. By the way, saying that he was baseball's worst player is a significant exaggeration. 2022 was a really bad year for him, but I never doubted that he had the ability to be a good outfielder eventually. I was less certain that he would be able to hit well enough at the big league level. I wouldn't have dared predict that he'd be as good as he's been really going back to last year (when he was healthy). But I also always thought it was a possibility, and I was definitely rooting for him to get there.

I lost the 2 MASN channels (Washington & Baltimore) and 2 local broadcast channels (Washington & Pittsburg) due to them being moved to a higher tier at Xfinity. Now no baseball but I got a crappy local Washington station that shows old Caps games and WNBA Mystic games.

I love baseball. I have a MLB team hat on almost every day. I wear shirts and jerseys. I go to a game as often as possible, usually 3 times a year. I love the sport. I watch almost zero baseball on Tv before the playoffs because they make impossible to watch what you want without buying the whole season. Ignorant.

That's all fine, but you're talking to random fans. You SHOULD be talking to other content creators. Specifically, Jomboy, Foul Territory, etc. Creators who have a direct connection to people in MLB. And if MLB won't work with you, get all content creators to convince their viewers to band together and do something. Like not watching baseball for a week, canceling their MLB subscriptions, etc. ALL professional sports games are available on offshore streaming sites. I'm sure people can deal with watching games in a lower quality for a little while to make a point and help out all of you content creators.

Content creators like you are the reason I watch baseball. I completely stopped watching for years until I discovered you and many others. Now I bought tickets for the whole family to go to a Red Sox game
