Let’s just make that permanent with the same structure if it’s all about money and less about integrity, and shrink the season while we’re at it. Baseball is meant to be a marathon, not a sprint like football, they play 162 games, so only the absolute best should have a shot at winning it all. A lot of garbage rules, adding a player to second base in extra innings seems unprofessional. The sliding into second, as well as home plate collisions. Don’t change rules because of freak accidents. The DH rule in the NL, takes strategy away from the game. Analytics takes away from being a fan of a starting pitcher, also making these pitchers mentally weak. Also, too many teams in the playoffs waters it down.

Dont forget what else he did in 2021. He took away the All Star Game from Atlanta due to a political issue, then at the end of the year, gave the 2024 All Star Game to Texas, who had the same laws they took it away from Atlanta for passing.

The rule changes have all been great. I preferred the one game wildcard, thought the sudden death game was a great way to kick off the postseason.
