The Pirates bullpen is actually one of their best qualities. David Bednar tied Camilo Doval for the most saves in the NL. Colin Holderman and Dauri Moreta are also very good with nasty stuff.
I might’ve been wrong with that one, lowkey I just very quickly looked on baseball reference, saw a bunch of players I wasn’t overly familiar with, and said they weren’t great, I had very little time to research lol

i think letting stroman leave was a good move tbh because he wasnt his first half self after the london game, he struggled for the rest of the year and got injured. if anything we got good pitching prospects coming up soon, and we can still go out there and resign cody bellinger and add another starter/bullpen arm

Tigers rotation and Bullpen is not better than the Twins lol, Twins are projected as top 10 in both via FanGraphs and had considerably more consistent results last year along with being pretty healthy, Tigers have been injury ridden consistently for the past few years and just lost ERod to the DBacks
Honestly the biggest worry for next year is needing bouncebacks from guys like Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton who really underpreformed to make up for the inevetiable regression their rookie class will have
Like I said it’s only their 4-5 I’m worried about, I’m not worried about Ryan Ober and Lopez they’ll all be good, but 40% of the games won’t have those guys starting, and the guys they’ll have filling in are kinda suspect imo!

@@peskytalk Stroman was so garbage after the series in London. If you're going to say why the cubs might not win the world series. Just say the bullpen which is the weakest part of the team at this moment. With only 3 good bullpen arms and if one crashes the bullpen is done the whole last 10 games for the cubs was bullpen blowing the games because adbert the closer was injured once again. Everyone was gassed out as well
Saying Stroman " the best pitcher " on the cubs leaving the team is so wrong. Not even a true statement. Where are your metrics to prove it????? You can't just make up something like that honestly man. Stroman had a solid 1st half yes and if stayed like that the 2nd half your statement would be " true " but it's really not.
Your Cody part is spot on tho. They do need another key bat. But the Stroman statement is not true.
I'm a literally die hard cubs fans and losing Stroman is not going to hurt the team. Some of us know already what the team is missing and are just gonna see in the trade deadline if they are willing to make the adjustment. Stroman someone with only 5 play off games ( not counting WBC ) from 2015-2016 isn't a savior for a world series run. Dude isn't all that and he's not gonna have a good time in NYY as well

It really isn’t because snell is way too inconsistent and Yamamoto was a dodger from day one also Monty hasn’t even signed yet who knows what will happen. I get that Henry isn’t the best owner in the world but the Red Sox are better than they were last year and Red Sox fans are comparing us to the as or pirates like even if we don’t make the postseason we’re not gonna lose 100 games or something like that. Stroman is the most consistently good pitcher on the team, and still that’s their biggest problem losing him, that should be considered a compliment to your team that I can think of anything worse
When Stroman was healthy he was arguably better than Steele, but I think Steele will be even better this season. Plus if Imanaga performs like how he did in the NPB then I think we'll be alright pitching wise. Plus someone like Jordan Wicks might surprise people and outperform expectations. We'll just see how it goes.
