I love this boss so much! Wish it was a tad shorter though.

Cool that the background is tree/body fingers with hanging bodies showing her guilt (she is literally red handed) and then the back of her head with a slit symbolizing how they operated her brain out of her. Similar to the theme of eyes opening, her brain slit opens more and more as the fight progresses until it's a full butterfly. Real interesting

Why during the claw fight, when it was charging the red ray, Yanlao didn't shoot at it? I remember that you had to make Yanlao shoot at the claw so it doesn't hit you

At first glance i thought the second phase was just a disordered gank, but as i played i noticed the attacks are really coordinated. To the point that if you stun Fuxi with the bow, Nuwa does absolutely nothing in the meantime. Parrying Fuxi is really fun too, especially the the combos that come from your back. Really fun fight overall.

Alright... guys, please hear me out...

Fun fact: Fuxi and Nuwa is also the name for the father and mother of humanity in old chinese story where when Fuxi survive the great flood, he and nuwa repopulate all of humanity.

easily the worst boss in the game, ik some of yall will bring up mini bosses but this is a SOL, it's supposed to have high expectations. I have literally no hit the true end final boss and i still die to this bitch every time i replay the game.

5:07 I didn't realize that this seems to be what the Lady Ethereal in the bossfight background seems to be going through, at first a small slit, then a large opening with something pulsing, and finally a large butterfly with multiple eyes. It seems like that is to represent the disease spreading and worsening.

Not gonna lie, I believe she was the boss that had the saddest backstory. She genuinely wanted good for everyone, she hadn't bear any malice or ulterior motives till the very end, she tried hard for the sake of everyone yet she still failed and that broke her. I don't feel any sympathy towards the rest of bosses, eeeeh maybe excluding Ji, because he's the same kind of character. The rest were just either hypocrites, psychos, they had ego through the roof, the were delusional about their supposedly unlimited power as a sol and were doing a lot of nasty, full of malice stuff fully aware of what they're doing, but they were doing it because they have obtained power to do it. And yet Lady Ethereal was totally opposite- to the very end, she blamed herself for what a cruel fate she had condemned others to, and could not undo it. She really deserved redemption arc :(

Great video Ironically (or perhaps intended), I found defeating her without attacking is, in actuality, infinitely safer and more feasible then defeating her with attacking; actively going for openings to attack her always leads me to either untimely parrying/dashing or getting burnt by the fiery trail she left when she dashed backward. As soon as I learnt how to parry all her moves, then gave up attacking and relied only on parry/talisman as the new strat, fighting her transformed from an ugly cat and mouse chase to what it felt like a stylish anime. GREAT BOSS.

With how tight this boss' moveset is, I feel like if you can beat her in one way, you know her moved enough to beat her in other ways. But props for doing it level 1.Having to keep up with her for 21 min looks exhausting.

What the hell is that attack that just keeps going right through you??? It's like the ghost tripple slash attack.. But with no slashes..

I love how Yi's behavior towards the Sols changes as you progress through the game. At this point, it's literally just revenge, so Yi didn't feel bad torturing Goumang. By the latter half, he's actually trying to reason with the Sols before killing/defeating them

Man, I already clocked 24h trying to cope with combat because the story is so bad, and basically just running around the map finding some fight till I got really bored with the combat itself, this is my last boss so far that I had to turn on the story mode because I got really bored with the combat and got two hit and dead in here, not because I want the story is so stupid. The boss move set is kinda random as well sometimes like bruh, the pace of the game is all over the place since it deals with some items (I one of those guy who try to get 100% achievement) and got really bored with the story. basically they lock the travel key point till 24h is nuts. and at this point I've only fight the fire guy. 3 boss? idk. and it's 10/10 on steam, tf. lmao

This game forces you to dominate your enemy attacks, and when you do, the battle sequence is really beautiful; I don't think Ive seen this before in a game. It is really a Kung Fu spectacle.

The mach speed homing darts she throws which require a single frame parry are such bullshit

How tf are you parrying the two blades and then still doing the unbounded counter like I don’t have enough time it’s bs

I struggled with this fight because of the combo of the two daggers during his unblockable attack. I didn't realize it was possible to parry both daggers and still get an unbound counter off-- the timing is very tight. I ended up saving my arrows for that attack to interrupt it, but still ended up eating a dagger about half the time due to being locked in the animation. As an aside, this is a great fight to use the jade which fully charges your charged strike on a precision parry. I used that in combination with the jade that consumes a Qi charge to boost your charge strike-- makes very quick work of phase 1.
