Q: The boss rush mod you're playing is slightly different than mine, what's up with that?
A: The version of the mod I'm playing is a bit outdated, back when only main bosses were available. The next step for me is to try out the newer version and beat all main and mini bosses.
Q: What does 'no hit' mean in this boss rush run?
A: No Hit means that no direct contact damage was dealt to the player, by that logic early deflects do not count as hits. This is opposed to the 'no damage' runs, in which no direct or internal damage should be taken.
Q: Did you edit the video segments for each boss?
A: No, I recorded this entire boss rush in only one go.
Q: How many hours it took for you to beat this boss rush without taking a single hit?
A: Approximately 30 hours.

Absolutely stellar performance.
Jiequan was the hardest one for me so its super satisfying seeing someone manage a no hit run on him. (without the infamous exploit)
Can't wait for this mode to be officially added!

@@yk54htangngocquyduong28 You could hang on the side ledge of the arena where he coulnt hit you and do side attacks to deal damage without risk.

​​​​@@Fioletets I personally felt he was way harder than the finale boss due to his sheer speed and damage plus the fact that he regenerates.
If i had to rank them from my easiest to hardest my list would be:
1. Goumang (first attempt)
2. Yingzhao (3 attempts)
3. Yanlao (8 attempts)
4. Eigong (20 attempts)
5. Lady Ethereal (lost count due to how often i tried to counter her downward attack in phase three before learning you can simply dash out of the way)
6. Ji (Didnt feel that hard yet probably took me double attempts)
7. Fuxi (Same as above)
8. Jiequan (Took me a entire day to figure out)
Even though he absolutely wrecked me i still think he's my favorite out of all of them. I enjoyed the challenge and his theme absolutely slaps.

Beating lady ethereal was quite possibly my favorite to do because once I knew what to do it all clicked into place and then I destroyed them so fast, and on my first try I accidentally no hit Fuxi without really realizing it. though I hear that of the bosses Lady E and Fuxi are the ones a lot of people tend to have problems beating,

If you can take internal damage in these runs, would it be worth to take that swift attack jade?

I am definitely not a speedrunner nor an expert on the game, but I had the swift strike jade equipped for a while but took it off for the final boss.
I found out that I wasn't doing that much damage with the sword anyways and that, since a talisman explosion also clears internal damage, I used the jade that inflicted internal damage on perfect parries.
I think the swift strike jade is very good for regular ennemies/traversal but not as much for bosses that always seem to be throwing attacks at you.

The claw boss was by far the easiest for me, wasn’t any trouble as long as you didn’t get too greedy. However I never seen him do that move at 5:30 with the laser, he always did a barrage of bullets instead and I could get him to shoot himself for a nice punish but never the laser.

Maybe it was changed recently. I played through the game this past week and also got the bullet barrage to stop him from doing the laser.
