The contexts at 4:05 becomes a lot more deeper when you realizes Yi has been sleeping for 500 years, and we know that the home planet of Solarians are hundreds of lightyears from New Kunlun(Where Yi is currently at). At New Kunlun, Heng's messages is like the light of the stars that both Yi and Heng saw in their childhood, just echoes of the past
@@whiteeye3453 If you're talking about the light of the stars being from ages past, it is literally mentioned by one of the characters in the game. So what do you mean "useless?"
> we know that the home planet of Solarians are thousands of lightyears from New Kunlun I'm pretty sure the distance is also ~500 light years, refer to the council recordings in the final area.
me: "I've already finished the game and cried my hearts out back then, I'm sure I won't cry anymore watching this!" heng: "Please, won't you come back?" me: *_cri_*
it always seems strange, that Heng, herself a mystic whether she knows it or not, understood the matter better than her brother, and chose the only road that a solarian could take without spreading their misery around. dying at peace with herself and without regrets.
Thank you for these backstory videos the past couple of days! It’s nice being able to return to these parts and get a closer look and a fuller picture.
The worst thing about all these messages, is that Yi has to remember how poorly he treated his sister the last time he would ever see her alive again. It's the one mistake he can never fix.
There are so many question and answers to figuring out what backstory mthey have in comment. Yi believe he spet over 500 years and she only listen till his final message.
Unlike the true ending, I'm fine with Heng not trying to desperately stay alive for as long as possible to not abandon her brother but instead tell him to move on in the worst-case scenario, they both wanted different things and both rejected each other, it's a natural compromise. However the true ending doesn't have such an excuse, He saved Shuanshuan but didn't even try to find a way to live to take care of him in the future and just died on his own terms holding the banner of the "Greater Good" as an excuse, I wouldn't mind if he died anyway I just wanted there to be an effort to get back. this is like that scene in anime where Rudy and Paul argued for not being passionate or too calm about the prospect of him saving his mom and I'm Paul.
“You have no more unread messages from Penglai”
😭
That's the saddest thing man

Using Einstein theory is useless

12:25, is heart broken situation for heng for losing Yi is super painful to bare, made me cry 💔😔😭
Absolute, this was the most painfull gameexperience in my life. Exactly this makes this in 10 of a 10.
im not fully understand their story, so im glad to watch it
Doomed siblings trope never gets old😭😭😭
As a brother with a loving sister, this trope always hits me in the feels.

They reunite in the after life
It's truly a perfect story.
This is so perfect. Thank you!
