Yi really does just have everything he needs to succeed out the gate . . . Well, assuming he had the ability to teleport past all of those ability-specific obstacles.
This is the same as saying that any game has a great design, because you can connect bananas instead of a controller and pass the boss without damage. Eigong is a good boss because it is the final one, which tests your skill and ability to combine abilities obtained during the game. Respect to the author of the video, of course, that he was able to pass such an uninteresting challenge, made exclusively to test the skill of long concentration. Do you really think that 20 minutes of clicking one combo is more interesting than the final test for 3-4 minutes, where you use the entire arsenal of skills?
I never found Water Flow that useful other than when the game swarms you with multiple mutants at once in the late game, tbh, since it lets you fire and forget your talismans to kill them off. otherwise, it was either standard Qi Blast or Full Control all the way.
@@McFluffles01i love it, it skips the vulnerability of full control and qi blast and let's me melee much more. i like melee builds a lot. it's very safe as long as you know what your enemy is doing when you talisman them
This boss is one of the hardest bosses i ve ever encountered. My first thoughts were "this is were it ends for me, no way i am beating her"... But after 3,4 hours of grinding, its so much fun to play against her and beat her :)
I have a hope that one day we get a hard-mode as dlc. I'm thinking in the realm of each boss getting an extra phase with optional modifiers like the inverse of easy mode.
With how tight this boss' moveset is, I feel like if you can beat her in one way, you know her moved enough to beat her in other ways. But props for doing it level 1.Having to keep up with her for 21 min looks exhausting.
She only executes the flying double slash into red slash in three situations: - Right at the start of phase 3; - As an ender of her unsheathing attack (She cycles the enders between the flying slashes, then flurry attacks and then a single crimson slash. After the crimson slash, she'll repeat the cycle again): - Has a chance after getting unbound countered; Since the third situation never happens in this run, I only have to pay attention to the first two situations. So, dash her double slash as soon as you enter phase 3, and pay attention to the unsheating attack cycle and dash as soon as you see the flying double slash attack.
Yup, the terminology of lvl 0 came after I beat this challenge, I originally referred to it as "Pure Lvl 1" but it was decided that lvl 0 was more convenient
I realized she never used the move where she throws you up and use a red attack, the one where she doesn't slash you back down. Is it intentionally removed to make the fight possible or are you just that lucky?
For some reason she'll only execute that move if you Tai-Chi Kick her Talisman Dash. I'm not sure why that happens to be honest, it is possible to avoid the move with a backwards talisman in the air.
“Look at me, Eigong, I’m the master now”
This is actually an amazing boss fight design that you can beat it with no skills at all
Yi really does just have everything he needs to succeed out the gate . . . Well, assuming he had the ability to teleport past all of those ability-specific obstacles.
@@aegisScale Maybe he just campped inside the control room, hiding and waiting for Eigong.

Bro is probably the one that is going to do the whole no hit to Nine Sols
You're a total genius with these pro strats. Using the talisman attack to substitute the in-air dodge is some lore-accurate Yi thinking right there
Fsr this feel like it was played by your average HK fans waiting for Silksong to come out
Still very impressive skills anyway!
lore accurate fight length wtf, my hands cramped just watching ,, ur so cool for this
I think a whole boss rush on lvl 1 Yi w/o damage with no attacking, only parrying and no water flow will be easy for you
No Water Flow is very easy. I went the whole game without changing from Qi Blast.

What Yi experienced at the start of the game
this is really helpful as guide. I mean, u can see clearly the boss movements and can learn it.

Monumental challenge complete. Such skill and discipline on display.
Bro eats Pantheon Of Hallownest all Bindings for breakfast
This is absolutely amazing. Congrats!

Ojala que no, a mi se me hacen extremadamente complicados los jefes de este juego
may the gods hear you
Eigong's third phase is CRAZY 😭 Whats with flying all over the screen??
And MAD respect to you, man. My jaw dropped seeing your skills, goddamn 😮
If you speed up the entirety of the phase 3 with 2x it’ll look like those quick fast paced epic battles
Oh my god. Respect for your skills! It took me multiple hours to beat her with max health and max ammo and all skills.
Once saw a guy who tried to beat Eigong simply with kicks😂 You somehow remind me of him
That sure does seem like an interesting challenge 👀
@@KaitoMajimathat's 鸚鵡parrot
this guy is crazy 💀 he even get to beat Lady E, Ji, Eigong and the Fengs without moving (not pressing direction keys)

Absolute madlad
Insert a meme from Jurassic Park here: "You did it. You crazy son of a bitch, you did it!"
that's an endurance challenge for sure
One word: AWESOME
This is crazy man!!!
incredible run. you fucking monster.
and how do you know the third hit of X slash in phase 3 is red blade or normal attack? that is insane
How many hours do you have on this game according to steam?
YOU'RE A GOD
Block, parry, dodge
How to recognize the triple slash is the red one or normal one before the first slash?
i have the same question 🥹

@@KaitoMajima geez how did u find these tips 💀 u must put lots of effort in this game
thx for explaining 🙏
So yi does use his hands and goes on all 4s to dash
This is lvl 0. Lvl 1 means you can still use Lear skills.
Yup, the terminology of lvl 0 came after I beat this challenge, I originally referred to it as "Pure Lvl 1" but it was decided that lvl 0 was more convenient
What the hell is that attack that just keeps going right through you??? It's like the ghost tripple slash attack.. But with no slashes..
You madman!
GG
