I totally agree with your praise of the CRF250f. I have come into dirt riding late in life, having owned the Tornado 250 before, the CRF is lighter and has fuel injection, and is low enough for me. There are plenty of gnarly tracks in Nicaragua to test the CRF to its limits. It is the best bike I have ever had. I was able to set it up road legal too.

I'm almost 55 and have considered racing again after over 20 years. It is SO fun.

I have a brand new WR 450 F in my living room and here I am 😂lmao I sure hope know how to let the clutch out slow 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂 good vid bro

Great video & content! I believe you nailed the key points. I'll add a couple of my own as, like you, I have race bikes and a 'trail' bike. I prefer the trail bike for doing trail work as they have a lower seat height and just easier to ride while hauling gear, etc. Finally, if you have a buddy that has the same bike, it's an absolute hoot chasing each other around the woods. They are less tiring and you can push the bike closer to or at its limits. Good stuff!

Riding in snow is no joke

I really wish I started racing when I was young... My first race I was.... thinking.... 34. It was an 8 hour rally race. Turns out being older and more controlled is really good for rally I didn't get a single penalty and came in second. I don't rally race anymore because 2 strokes use so much gas I end up running out between stages. I love racing though... I don't care if I win every race. If I find myself winning every round I just go up a class. I love that feeling of just banging bars and being on the course with people your level. Edit* I've actually done a lot of 6 hour ironman harescramble races... It is my favorite racing. It is wild how after about 4 hours you just get into a zone and start putting in laps that you completely forget. By the end you are just fried for days. It is amazing. I know its not for everyone but It is my kind of racing. My only tips for you is don't listen when guys tell you to start slow. Riding slow is hard, it also sets the pace for the rest of the day. A lot of people will tell you to start slow... over and over you will here it. I just can't disagree more. Hit the first lap hard the second hard... have fun and shred. Your gunna crash either way. But riding slow the bike is going to be flopping around and your going to be balancing more... fast everything flows and your are just able to set the mental tone higher for when you hit the tired wall.

I’m also planning this year being my first full season in my local Hare scramble and sprint enduro series.

I dnf'd my first two motos, won my third & lapped the feild in my fourth. Then aged out of the super mini class and couldn't afford a big bike. I raced some in rando classes on my rm 85 but that was my whole racing career. My family let me ride and race but even as a kid I had to buy my own bikes and gear. Basically i was pretty good but just straight up got priced out. Now I'm old and have to convince myself to send jumps I would've hit without hesitation on my mini. 😂

It seems you should try a dual sport klx 230 led light stock nd 6 gears so its gonna be even better at lower speed nd can cruise at good speed 😁 i like honda but they should put a 6 gears on their enduro bike

Klx 230 for the win😁😁 6 gears 2 valve kinda easy to work on. Klx 230r vs crf 250F might be interesting

I came across a car meeting where they were blocking the road some people in car turn around with kid in their car but here i was on my trail bike … should have choose a other day for their meeting 🤣

I know this isn't related, but I got my quad back together. It has pretty good power now. It needs washed, then I'll retorque the head. I ran it yesterday and was told to retorque it after awhile.

DRZ rider here. What I love about this bike is that it's very easygoing and unintimidating out of the box, but you can mod it up to 50 bhp without spending all that much money. As far as four strokes go, you get a lot for a good price, especially if you buy used.

once again might sound a bit biast but if you have a buddy with a crf150r i highly recommend you try it out as it has a bit more power than the 250f but it has the best and most reliable throttle response of something i have ever rode keep up the work and im looking forward to the future :)

Really considering one but being dead middle of nowhere in the ass crack desert of mew mexico idk how keen i am on the idea of air cooled. I understand the liquid will be nearly as hot as the air but ultimately at near arizona temps id say any little bit would help.

i have a crf 70 and ttr110, funnest bikes ever and im 6'1 150 lbs. i take the 70 off small jumps but would i take it up a huge jump then blame the poor suspension made for an 9 yr?? NO. use the bike for what it can do and what you can do. (to be fair the suspension bottoms out if i go off a curb)

Here’s a question, it relates to setting up the foot controls: so I rented this exact bike, so much fun, and the shifter was basically at the same height as the foot peg, making it hard to shift with boots. The foot brake was also higher than the foot peg, making braking very hard as well. So should the foot brake be lower than the foot peg, and should the shifter be higher than the foot peg?

Im getting a dual sport soon. My only issue in Michigan is deciding if I'm gonna ride in the snow/winter. We use alot of salt here and I'm not too keen on the rust factor. I've seen a ton of rusty bikes here and it's cuz they winter ride em.

I’m familiar with Hondas sport quads and have plenty of hours on the 400ex but haven’t had too much time with dirtbikes so I went and picked up a crf250f and man did the bike just sink when I sat on it I’m 6’4 190lb so I didn’t even take it from the dealer yet it’s currently getting BBR front springs and rear spring to stiffen it up a little

You know every time I start thinking about not posting videos on TH-cam I get that one comment from someone that makes all of it worth the effort. No I dont make any money off my channel but the feeling you get when someone comments how your video have expired them with worth more than money to me. I think your channel will explode because not only do you have great riding skills that attract those who only want to see a good rip but you are trying to motivate others.
