I'm looking at a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl 6AM) and read about a sticky or jerky clutch. What's your opinion on this car, perfect condition and 69k miles?

From the way it seems, Alot of C.D.F Drums need to be replaced in the 10 speed Ford Rangers and F150's. That sounds like it should be a Recall if it's happening to alot of there trucks and they need to replace them all without us having to pay for it.

Hello Ben, I’m getting ready to re assemble my 6f35 as per your videos. How ever the direct drive drum has a black coating on it that’s missing a little on 1 side. Is this an issue?

Took them a long time but Ford eventually got it right, …sort of. It won’t set your world on fire, but at least it’ll get you home. Sadly back to square one with the EcoBoom engine which has to be the least reliable engine in the world!

Do they use the same clutch? I’m assuming not. I’m trying to find a clutch and flywheel for a 2017 1.0L

Hey what does it mean when my car is accelerating slowly in a 2019 ford fusion, they just replaced the fuel pressure pump and it still seems like it doesn’t want to get through the gears quickly when accelerating. Feels sluggish. Also when accelerating I notice a lag or slip everytime I hit 40 mph or decelerating, when it goes past 40 mph it will be a very noticable downshift kind of jolt. Please help, just bought this car and it’s been in and out the shop for 3 months. Just had a engine replacement due to Recall….

After a very bad experience with a 2001 Focus with a duratec engine I swear I won't buy a Ford again!

I just did a clutch job for no reverse and eratic shifting on my 2013 Focus. With only 44k total miles, I cannot believe I had to do this already. I replaced the transmission input seals; inside of the case appeared to have a little bit of oil, but not much though; so clutch itself was probably still ok, clutch discs still had a lot of material left. Since I had already pulled the transmission out for inspection, I put a new dual clutch kit and new forks anyway. Now, no reverse and got P087 code. I followed your procedure when installing the nuts, rotated engine about 10 revolutions, but after all that, engine has a vibration at around 1k RPM that it didn't have before. I still have to chase the P087 code and no reverse. What should I try next? Thanks in advance.

So I think my fork spline in A position are toast. It won’t recoil back from a turn annd it’s loose ans well and stuck when I turn it with the to. and the car won’t start well or change gear when accelerating. What is the fix in this case? Do I need a whole new fork A? Do I need to drop the transmissions and open for that?

Serviced my transmission at 31,000 miles. It dies at 41,000 miles. Can we add an oil cooler and ditch the stock bypass and cooler? Also is there a way to add a dipstick?

I agree with you ,here in Nova Scotia Canada, this morning -10c ,gave my f150 3.5 about 3 mins to come off fast idle.My main reason for that is because of how bad my 10r80 shifts when cold

I just replace mine on 2019 and I try to key on and shift gear it doesn’t light up but when I leave it on driver it show I am not on park tho . Does yours light up all the gear with key on ?

As a mechanical engineer, engines need a few minutes of warming before heading out; and until reaching operating temperature, I keep the RPM at 1500. I have a block heater on my F-350, although the oil doesn't get to the top end for at least a minute or so. Do whatever you want, but a few minutes of warm-up is better than $100k for a new truck or a new Z06. PS I ever warm up my daily commuter a 2018 Fiesta ST...

-12C? Must be nice! 😋 I'm in Canada near the ND/MN border, and that's a warm day for us. Our winters haven't been as cold in recent years, but we still see -35 or lower sometimes (not including windchill, which doesn't apply to vehicles, just adding for human perspective) Also, many modern block heaters have cord ends that don't even kick in til -20C. They often break off anyway, and putting a regular end on sometimes throws a code if the vehicles sits for like 10+ hrs and the ECT sensor doesn't jive with the IAT or something. I forget. But the biggest factor seems to be oil. Here's a very old video made by Esso that shows how long it takes for various oils to get to the top end when cold starting! Just got home from ford, ive had the re-learn,valve body done and there gonna rebuild it now. They said the parts will be the updated cdf drum..its a 2019 f150 xlt. Im wondering if people have had problems after having the updated cdf drum done at the dealer.. any response would be great.Jeremy.

What a POS motor and manufacturer. Interference motor with a timing belt that you have to pull to do the water pump thats powered by the serpentine belt. Junk. Ford is a joke.

If the pump is whining do you think the transmission is too far gone to even attempt a flush? I’m trying to get my sisters fusion temporarily driving until I source a used trans.

I have a 2013 Ford Focus. The guy said he had the trans repaired under warranty. It now grinds and shudders from 1-2. Never fails to shuft and runs great!! Love driving the car. It has about 15k miles since recall repair. I can manually shift and it does great. Should I be worried or just drive the wheels off it? Thanks

I had a transmission replaced but a few wires were left loose. Someone mentioned that the transmission range sensor was probably damaged because it popped up when they stuck device in to give a diagnosis. They mentioned that this was causes the car not to start because it was not in drive. So, we're going to replace the transmission range sensor. Hopefully that works. You are very knowledgeable of Ford Escape and thank you for your insights.

Hello, I have a question, the scanner showed me throttle pedal position sensor switch B circuit High...also medium...throttle we act A Control motor circuit range performance... It's a 2012 Ford Explore 3.5 liter, it starts but it doesn't start if the throttle is damaged. The car doesn't start, that's my question, thanks in advance

Main leakage on these focuses is actually the AC seals.
