@BigBensCarsAndCycles now does all this keep everything stock with functioning cruise control and getting the engine to not think it's in park/neutral? Last guide I looked as was PS on TH-cam, and he was having those difficulties. But he was like one of the first to do this and publish his results. Again, thank you for making this!
@@nicksimadis2086 Yup, everything works as if it came manual from the factory (including cruise control and the IPC telling you when it thinks you should up/down shift). You don't even need a new PCM, it's just a matter of finding the correct firmware image to flash to it.
@@BigBensCarsAndCyclesI gotcha I totally forgot that the tcm will be removed because it’s now a manual and you will not need the connector because the tcm is gone totally makes sense now thanks!!
Dude.... that's quite the step out of the kitchen there! Awesome series!
@vidaiautomation thanks! Been a while, you been doing ok?
I can't wait for the programming side of this! Great series, Ben!
@@nicksimadis2086 thanks! We have a programming guide in the discord!

thanks for this video its very helpful , i just finished my car and its 100% like stock
@@MG-fk1qb awesome!
Good stuff! Have you thought about putting together a swap kit?
@tkmad7470 interesting! No I haven't.
I guess I’m not understanding you need to cut your connector off of the wire harness then re solder every wire you cut ?
@GREGHOLUB after removing the tcm connector, all the unused left over wires got heat shrink to seal them. That's it. No solder or splicing

What can block my ignition to go on??my car crank but wont start what can it be?
Got any fault codes?
Oh interesting, I didn't realize ford uses different connectors sometimes, they look basically the same lol
It was almost impossible to see with the naked eye. Only when I zoomed in with my camera. The pins are a snugger fit on the ones that came on my car
