Thanks for the video! I have 2014 Ford Focus SE Flex Fuel. I have been wanting to install a CAI but people told me the engine light would come on so I’m scared too. 😢
Hey, no problem! Glad you liked it. I've never had a check engine light come on with one of these on a Focus. Only once before and that was on a hyundai tiburon v6 when I put a short ram intake on it. Too much air for that particular engine and it set lean codes. Never happened to me on a focus!
Actually, the air this COLD? Air Intake sucks from the engine bay is WARMER than what comes into the cylinders through the grill and the filter housing, which will reduce your engine power because warmer air is less dense (physics 101). FORScan will show you this to be correct. It shouldn't be called COLD air intake. This is marketing bullshit. Pure and simple......... What you are getting is a new engine rev noise with inferior power delivery for your bucks Such noise caper takes me back to when I was a primary school kid proud of my noisy bicycle with a fixed ridged plastic card flapping between the wheel spokes. I gave it up even before I went to high school............. Sorry to be blunt.............

Wouldn't the air this sucks in be warmer since it's just sucking from the engine bay instead of from the front like stock?
@@wcvp yup! But I just do this for the sound.
@@BigBensCarsAndCycles That's fair lol
What happened to your air thang?
@@wcvp removed to avoid any tangle or pinching with my mediocre wiring there lol (from the manual swap)
@@BigBensCarsAndCycles oh yeah makes sense

Yup! Agreed. I don't mind, I just want the noise and appearance.
