So fun to see this and your smiling face ... I met you guys on trail, I was going EABO from Ross Lake to Oroville for a week with my dog. Met you at the eastern end of the Pasayten ... you probably won't remember. This year I will be doing about a month on the PNT (hiked the PCT in 2020) from near Bonners Ferry to Winthrop (exiting just after the Pasayten to Winthrop).

And I just finished your book, then watched all your videos of the PNT. So great to see the faces of the people you met along the way and attach a story to them. I have now bought your book for my sister and another for my friend’s birthday. Thank you for sharing your adventure. ❤

I grew up in western Washington. Took two pack trips on horseback into the pasayten and hiked in one year! Truly the most beautiful place on earth!

I’ve heard you say it about the PNT before but I loved hearing it again: that you chose it for the solitude. That’s the exact reason I hike too and it’s the one thing that has hit me watching American thru hiking videos (I’m from Sweden). I just don’t get how people wanna head out hiking and not get to be alone 😅 each to their own I guess, but you’re the first TH-camr I’ve heard agree with me on this

This video series of the PNT is just sooooooo good! My daughter is going to be a crew member this summer working in the Pasayten Wilderness, and we've been watching these videos about the trail as she prepares to go. Heck, I'm ready to hike the whole thing with her someday......Even the Lions Head Ridge! :)

I had already made up my mind that this is going to be my first thru hike as well as my warm up for the PCT. I've been doing so much research and realizing just how scared I've been. But after watching your series and finally your farewell letter to the trail, I don't think I'm afraid anymore. Thank you...Let's fucking dance.
