The is no such thing as 6 mile VFR visibility at night.

Only 1 controller, yet 5 personnel in the cab tower. 1 ground guy, 1 assistant, 1 supervisor and 1 trainee. Sounds like a management issue. Did you know that 24 hours earlier they almost has another collision on those exact same routes in the exact same spot? Wiht 3 to 5 near misses every week for years, this was inevitable.

DCA: Your reproduction doesn't represent the flight path accurately. Brickyard was lined up on final well before the crash. Also, you glossed over how one tower controller went home early. That's huge--could have broken the error chain. Obviously Army bares the brunt of causal fault--they should have been on altitude, on course. That comes down to who was flying. And we know that was an imporant factor because no one wants to talk about it. Med Service: Maybe a failed vertical stabalizer. Jeju: Either they lost both engine due to bird strike, or just one and they shut down the good engine.

The first accident seems like human error, especially if the Blackhawk was violating altitude limits in that airspace. The second accident seems a little more phishy. The many viral videos with many angles going around makes any sane person wonder. Looks like a missle came out of the sky in those videos. Is anyone going to address that or at least debunk it if there is an explanation for that? Who was on that plane?

I ride my bike daily in Spokane to a cemetery a couple miles from my house. Occasionally, I'll go in the mausoleum building and walk around last summer in 2024. I was in the rear of the building looking at the small cubicles where ashes are kept with clear glass and personal effects and belongings behind the glass and noticed an entire family, which I assume our ashes I don't know if they recovered the bodies in the ocean, but they all were on that flight. They all perished together, a boy, a girl and their parents it was kind of startling and I'm flying to Mexico tomorrow, but not on MD-80 thankfully

Apparently military HELO should NOT be doing training exercises along the River when commercial aircraft are descending on final to the runway. How above having Army Helos conduct training in the middle of the night when commercial aircraft are not flying in the same area? Or have them train somewhere else.

Whoever is in charge of the 12th Aviation Battalion needs to be relieved of command today. To have a "qualification" flight being conducted by a junior pilot (PIC) and a more senior pilot overseeing the flight (IP) and to have the kind of deviations from both lateral and vertical limits in a very crowded Class B airspace is beyond unacceptable. Senior officers are judged by the performance of the people below them in rank. This team was beyond unacceptable in the performance of their mission. Some Field Grade Officers need to be looking for another form of work, stat!

I have yet to hear anyone offer an explanation as to why ATC asked the CRJ to switch to runway 33 when it was already on approach to land on runway 1. Maybe the request itself was not unusual but this put the CRJ on the collision path with PAT25.

Nowhere in the World is 200' separation of air traffic allowed other than DCA. The Air Traffic System allowed this disaster to eventually happen.

Summary for real Americans: The Democrat domestic terrorist, who worked directly for the illegitimate junta, turned off advanced tracking, broke countless regulations, and flew her helicopter directly into a passenger plane. Her social media history was then scrubbed by the Apparatus.

No training on helicopter pilot in landing air space....

I think the med jet had a control or structural failure. You dont get to that altitude in that short of distance without good performance. It was nearly vertical when it struck the ground.

If that last jet had an EMAS at the end of the runway, I believe all would have survived. An EMAS is similar to a runway truck ramp. It stops the jet quickly. It's very bothering to hear about so many dying in an aircraft accidents. Prayers for the families.
