Please let your dog outlive you, even by a day, and take care of your beloved family member's departure. Dogs cannot understand death. The day you say goodbye to your dog will be unbearably sad and lonely. But you should be proud of yourself for having loved your beloved dog to the very end. He is, without a doubt, the happiest dog in the world. I wish you good health. In order to maintain an equal relationship with Hachitaro, Professor Ueno did not teach Hachi any tricks. He believed that being forced to learn tricks was detrimental to the dog's self-esteem. After Professor Ueno's death, many people taught Hachitaro simple tricks as he stood in Shibuya Station. Hachiko learned them, and he charmed many people. However, Hachiko never stopped waiting for Professor Ueno at the station. Even when his new owner prepared delicious food, mainly beef, Hachitaro stuck to Shibuya station. Nothing can make up for the loss of a dog that has lost a loved one.

The whole arc with Stoic and Valka... oh, it wrecks me every time. I'll never _not_ get emotional with their song. It really is just... such a thing of beauty.

Las criaturas se llaman alebrijes, el perro su raza es un Xoloscuincle se supone que te ayuda a pasar el puente de los muertos, la ciudad esta inspirada en San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato, los muertos son inspirados en actrices y cantantes reales de la cultura Mexicana , las flores solo se dan en el mes de noviembre por eso se usan en ese dia la flor.

The real life Hachiko received a State Funeral . There is another statue in the front on the quad at The University of Tokyo. It is the actual gravesite of both the Professor Ueno and Hachiko.

According to legend: Disney didn't wanted this movie made, simply because skeletons are taboo in China. Against all odds the movie was made, and didn't expect it to be shown over there, for the aforementioned taboo. At the preliminary showing, the Disney representative didn't know what to do, as the Chinese reviewers were literally crying by the end. Coco become the first movie with moving skeletons in years to have been shown in China.

Up is a very sad movie with a really great and happy ending, watching your reaction was really cool. One of the reasons might be that you probably don't watch the movie just for clicks and views, but also due to the big passion about films in general.

You may like "Over the Garden Wall," if you haven't seen it. It's a series of 10 short episodes with a terrific story! Very unique! Whole series is only about 2 hrs total runtime.

This movie is so meaningful in so many levels in a human and Mexican way. It's also a metaphor for all those hard working men that cross the border to earn enough money for their families. Many times to save their kids from poverty and starvation, and some times they can never go back to them. 😭 It's a common wound in Mexico to have grown without a father. Many Mexican moms have to build the kind of character Mama Imelda had to have to get the courage to support and lead a family alone. We love our strong matriarchs that become the pillar of our lives. But I think that also causes the men in the family to feel left out or insufficient, playing a secondary role in family life. And that's reflected here so well. And I applaud they gave a voice to Hector and Miguel to earn their share of love and respect. So this wonderful movie practically obliterated most of us (Mexicans) because understands deep rooted wounds. I've never heard an audience practically wailing in sorrow at a movie theatre the way we did with Coco. But those were healing tears. The love, appraisal and understanding of the Mexican culture in this movie is something I will always be inmensely thankful to Pixar, Lee Unrich, and everyone involved in it's creation. It is truly a love letter for us.

"Dos Oruguitas" is, I think, going to stand the test of time and become a classic piece of Disney music. It's such a gentle, tender melody and sung so well - I've deliberately avoided learning what the lyrics mean in my own language, because it would ruin the magic - it communicates everything it needs to, even if I don't fully understand.

My grandmother was a quiet, humble woman. But she taught me so many things, and I loved her dearly. It took a long time for dementia to take her, she was so very small but tough as nails. It claimed her memories, it changed her personality, and it destroyed my grandfather to watch the woman he loved for over 60 years lose herself. Just before she passed, we gathered as a family beside her and sang some hymns together, a selection of her favorites. And Grandma sang along. Every. Single. Word. She remembered them all, like the music kept a part of her mind open even though all others had long since closed. So when I tell you that this movie turned me into a sobbing shell of a man in the theater COMPLETELY unexpectedly... I'll treasure this film forever.

Pixar really doesn't need younger protags and all those "coming-of-age" stories to get an audience going~ You don't suddenly check out of growing and experiencing new things and feelings after adolescence... XD "UP", "SOUL", and even "Cars 3" proved that the older perspective can be just as worthwhile in following. <3 It's so nice to see that play out with TH-camrs, too!
