Personally, I prefer bigger screen size on my Kindle paperwhite 12th (7 inch). It is favourable and comfortable for those who are short-sighted like me. I'm short-sighted with -8 prescription, so a larger screen suits me😂

Windows version still works, i tried the 10.0.9 version instead of 10.0.3. I got kfx-zip until i downloaded the newer plugin version of dedrm 10.0.9.

I have the 12th Gen Kindle and can modify the sleep timer in settings. I don't have the official cover, I bought a cheap case on Temu. I know if I open the case the kindle wakes up from sleep.

one thing i dislike about the PW and CS is that in landscape mode, you can only rotate the screen so the bezel is on the left hand side. there's no way to rotate it so the bezel is on the right unless you jailbreak it

I have same kindle edition, and it's misbehaving like its automatically opens up books in Library also changes pages automatically, and opens up multiple options while reading, I have tried to factory reset, removed account, removed every books from library and still it behaves in same way. Can you help?

I got my Colorsoft in the UK just before Christmas and it is yellow-band free thankfully! By trading in my 2016 Kindle I got £100 off, so it was a reasonable £170 for me. I colour-code my highlights for plot, theme, character and quotes, so there’s a real advantage to having the colour. I wouldn’t go back to B&W now. And I find the screen really comfortable to read from.

The font size on the 11th gen looks larger than on the 12th, meaning it would naturally have fewer words and lines than the larger display. I understand it is smaller and will have less text even at the same font size, but can you confirm what the font size was on each model during this video? It may be my perception of the fonts that is incorrect, not the fonts themselves, so I'm curious.

I can't get Calibre with the plug ins to work with any of my downloaded nook books. Is there another step for those?

I wanted to love my colorsoft so much but sadly I didn't. I didn't have the yellow band but the font wasn't as sharp and it was grainy. I returned it for the new kindle scribe in the jade color. I must say I love the scribe in a way I wanted to love the colorsoft.

I keep watching your videos and all I need is something for writing taking notes and staying organized. The remarkable pro still seems to be the best choice for me. Help please if possible other options other than a device running android. Is there anything else out there.

Here is what I want, I have kids but like reading some books that are a bit spicy. I want a hidden bookcase with a password, so my kids can read their books and NOT stumble into my spicy books.

This just seems ridiculously pointless and lazy, unless you're disabled of course.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me (1/23/25). Made sure Kindle for PC was correct version (2.4.0.70904) and DeDRM was latest version (10.0.9). I tried multiple titles, so perhaps Amazon has since upgraded their DRM protection?

Great video, thanks! Yesterday I went to a physical store just to compare the basic and paperwhite, to actually see and feel the difference, and it will be paperwhite for me, no doubt! Basic is just too small and the way that frame is not the same level as the screen makes it not a good design (especially at that size!) so, now just need to save up some money 😁
