I've been a remarkable user since 2017. I love the multiple notebooks. I don't have to worry about where my notes are...I can copy and paste to reorganize notes, the search by words is amazing! I just bought the Pro and can't wait to get into it!!
This is an amazing review. I have watch many videos on the remarkable, and this video has taught me the most. I love the different tricks you have taught us here. Thanks very much!
I intend to use Paper Pro for use in capturing notes for my clients. Do I set up a 'File' for each client? And then a Note? ... all of the reviewers I have looked at lose me because you are using words that YOU know but I DON'T ! I would like to see a demonstration of how someone would use the Paper Pro to take notes in a client meeting, and THEN how to file it or organize it so that I can easily go back and review whenever I want and on whatever device it has been synced to. You do a good job of explaining a lot of stuff but when you say 'Beginner' to me, it means I have NEVER used something like this and my brain is wired to pen and paper note taking! I am truly a 'Beginner'!
Im not a professional just a user. I would treat each client as a "notebook" once the notebook is open take notes just like you would on paper. If you want you can go back later and move notes around, add your comments etc. You can even choose a template that you think would best fit your style of note-taking. I hope this helped and that you love it! Good luck!
Im looking to buy for Veterinary Medical School and leaning toward this device. Seems likena very good option instead of having my Box of paper notes! Between SuperNote, ReMarkable 2 or ReMarkable Paper Pro.
The color might be a nice touch for your classes. I am a lawyer, trying to decide if I need the color, but I bet if I was still in school I probably would. Good luck in school! My eldest is starting college next year and he’s hoping to go to vet school one day. Congrats getting in, I hear it’s harder than human medical school!
@cheefussmith9380 I ended up getting the ReMarkable Paper Pro to just that reason, thank you for the help! I hope all goes well in college for your child, diversity in animals and clinical is vital in the Veterinary feild. Have them consider leadership roles in clubs while in college. Reach out if they have any questions im happy to help! - Alejandro Sigala Ross Vet Student
The color is it! I’m brainstorming ideas for books and I use the colors to code levels of importance. I guess tags works for the same thing, but when I’m brainstorming ideas I don’t remember to use tags.
Well, syncing is anything but fast. I bought my Paper Pro yesterday and I had to do factory reset to make my reMarkable to download the files I added on my desktop app. It does not work on browser as well. The only device that does not see the files is actual tablet. I don't know what's wrong :/ I am logged in, have my subscription, while sync checking it says it's ok. A great start indeed...
Question If I may. I have no interest in subscription services. I have read the detail regarding this online. I can still use the app (computer and phone) to see files on each device. My question relates to backing up files. I still use multiply hard drives to back up things. I do not use one drive/google/drop box etc. Still do not trust file storage systems off site. Is it as easy as linking via cable or wifi to the device and copy files onto my hard drive attached to the computer. Just for file back ups in case a problem develops with Paper Pro. You can also transfer files back right? Online help says only files accessed in last 50 days on your device are backed up without paying subscription. So I could also just access every file once every 40 days, and they will still be backed up on ReMarkable Online. If I read that properly. The device is not released here until 5th December. (Australia) Thanks. Have enjoyed watching your video's. I prefer writing notes on paper. Tried the Remarkable 2 writing in store, love it.
Hi Ricky, thanks for your question! The Paper Pro doesn’t show up as a hard drive when connected to a Mac or PC. Instead, you’ll need to enter its IP address into your browser, while having it connected via cable, to export or download files. I demonstrated this process in the video at 12:28. It’s a bit more cumbersome because you can only export, download, or back up files one at a time-there’s no option to select and process multiple files simultaneously. Regarding the 50-day syncing limit without a subscription, a workaround I found is duplicating the file that’s no longer syncing. As the duplicated file is a new file, it will sync for another 50 days. Hope this helps and thank you for watching my content. All the best!
How do you use your reMarkable day to day? Let me know in the comments below!
Finally got mine! Wow it's the best thing I've ever owned!

Very good Video. Thanks
This is the BEST Remarkable PRO video that I have found. 5-stars.
Thank you Diana!

I just got the paper pro and my main screen doesn't have "Integrations" on it?
Go into Settings and check for a software update. It should be available for everyone now.

Without paying subscription you cannot sync between devices. For the price iPad does a better job and offers better bang for buck.
