Last time we saw a musical film this good was Hairspray!

I think the movie just looking at it I don’t like the mobs and I think the plot might drag to much for me

I was so surprised at how good it was! I was scared to sit almost 3 hours but I didn’t even realise how fast it end I didn’t want it to end at all haha I was holding my pee for 1 hour too cuz I don’t want to miss any scene and will be going again to show my students and parents haha

As a huge fan of musicals, it always makes me so happy seeing a musical based on a Broadway show done right! 2021 - In The Heights, Tick Tick Boom, West Side Story 2022 - Matilda The Musical 2023 - The Color Purple 2024 - Wicked We see the musical genre slowly making it's comeback and starts to gain more respect from audiences

That's the curse with these movies. The original wizard movie, the second one, and this one. Look it up. Also, the wicked witch always gets the worst of it every time

the light flares and backlighting was one of my biggest gripes about 'In the Heights' which had the same director and cinematographer as Wicked...just from the trailer I knew this movie would end up having the same issue and I was right. I don't understand their obsession with doing this?? Anyways, apart from that...I loved Wicked

While I don't know many other current Disney stuff, music wise, There's a DCOM I watched with my niece and the music sounded HELLA tiktok-y. At this rate I think it's on purpose because if you have a good tiktok song then people (kids) are gonna do tiktoks to whatever clip of the songs and boom, free advertising

Gonna be honest, it’s about time. One of my favorite movies is a movie musical, Chicago. And I’d be super happy if they adapted more musicals using the movie magic.

I wish they could have made HTTYD a little darker and more serious, and with 2 and 3, I would like them to be slightly different.

Here's the deal, there was never supposed to be a "Moana 2". The original plans were for this to be a Disney Plus series. The series was in the works and being completed as multiple episodes. However, Bob Iger needed something to pitch to the board during an earnings call, something that would be guaranteed money-maker. He then decided that instead of a Moana series, they'd turn those episodes into a movie. That's right. Since the original intent was to be a low-budget streaming series, it's obvious that they never planned to bring back Lin Manuel Miranda since the budget probably just wasn't there, so they hired other people to work on the film. The worst thing to come out of this? This isn't even a Disney Animation Studios production. This is basically the equivalent of one of those "Straight to Video" sequels from the 90s. We all know those weren't on the same level, and the music in those movies were never as good as their theatrical counterparts. So yeah, that's why these two women were picked to write the music instead. This Moana series was rushed into a movie in just months. I'm expecting there to be multiple issues with the film since they took what were supposed to be multiple episodes, and mushed them into one film. Yep, it's clear from this decision that Bob Iger will do anything for a buck, even risk one of their most valuable franchises. Fingers crossed that this doesn't suck hard.

I don't think romantic love is real or special, and I think romantic relationships are a bad thing. I think humans should just stop being in romantic relationships. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. Romance seems like an ugly thing. Many fathers and brothers are hoping that their daughters/sisters never date or get married and remain single for their whole life due to the dangers and risks of romantic relationships. The overprotective father/brother thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and that this world would be a much better place without them. If someday that the human race ditches the concept of romance and romantic relationships, and got rid of stuff like dating and marriage, fathers/brothers would be happy about it since they wouldn't ever have to worry about their daughters/sisters ever dating if that ever happened. People (especially women) should avoid being in a romantic relationship and be single for life since romantic relationships are dangerous.

not to mention that many people think that Snow White and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty were "sexually assaulted" since the kisses they received from Prince Florian (that's his real name!) and Prince Phillip were considered "non-consensual" it's a prime example of why people need to go and touch some grass instead of over-analyzing fictional animated films

the first didn't really tell us anything.this tells alot more i could tell that some people thought that he was just born here but this tells us he was not
