The short and simple answer is no, the mandalorian movie won't save star wars. The show tried and failed to save the franchise and one more movie that's dead on arrival won't change that.
Call me naive, but I don’t think that one mediocre season of the show means that the Mandalorian is gonna be trash going forward. I have hope that they can make this movie something special, but I guess only time will tell! :)
@@isaacmurdock I said the show tried and failed to save the franchise not that the show itself tried and failed to be good. It was good for the first and second season then ruined by book of boba fett making returning to it jarring for fans who didn't see book of boba and disappointing fans further by wasting the potential character development of Mando after grogu how he changes and develops as a character and a mandalorian we get more gimmick Mando Gorgu instead of sticking with what they started at the end of season 2. And this is all before you even start season 3. As well as that we've suffered through 3 poor movies and so many terrible live action shows. The bo katan season 3 was poorly written with some episodes just being pointless platforms for cameos and unnecessary references. The show was considered the hope for well written star wars content for a while but season 3 showed the same quality as the rest of the Disney star wars shows (excluding andor) and Disney has given us no reason to doubt anything they make will be poorly written.
Are you excited for “The Mandalorian and Grogu”?
I want the villain to be Ap'lek the well known Knight of Ren famously portrayed by Chris Pratt.
Make it happen Disney
In a word - no
Hahaha classic Paul, always the optimist.
