You got a video on how to do the rear from what I understand it’s just getting the leaf springs underneath but don’t know where the shackles go and if there’s any thing else to it as well

Man I’ve been working out of my 12 Tahoe with a truck vault box just got a 95 3500 service truck I’m paranoid gonna have to have one hell of a hidden kill switch but I work in a nice town nice set up bro!!

Was the drive quality change a lot? Like is a lot stiffer
Not at all. Felt the same down the road, only at speed bumps did I feel a difference.
Could you clamp the part that you welded?
Do you need to clear coat or no ?
Does the truck bottom out on the frame without a c notch

I did after, but I couldn’t find 2k clear in matte finish I didn’t want it to be shinny. So I just did a 1k Matte clear.

In the kit, DJM should do something about the sway bar link fitting. If you’re going to pay that much for an install and go, you shouldn’t have to fabricate stuff. Seems like an easy enough part to fab and include in the $850 kit.🤷🏻
I have the same small red craftsman tool box with the drawers, how did you make the organizer there on the top ? Nice setup
Cut the lid off of course, then get yourself one of those socket tray organizers. It was a great setup.

What kind of insurance do you have
Thanks for the video man!! I went down a worm hole trying to find aftermarket sway bars for the trucks without factory ones. Found out they’re pretty much all discontinued🥲 I didn’t want to go this route but I’m glad someone did it so I know how. Thanks!!
what insurance company do you use?
GEICO. I use their business insurance. So far haven’t had an issue.
How did the ibeams hold up? Any issues with welds over the years ?
I sold the truck, but I had it for 2 years after I lowered it. The beams held up fine. But I also didn’t abuse it. For example some guys that made their trucks for racing or track.

Lol this is best 1 year review..... "I already had that crack" "And i missed that spot so dont look a that" So duplicolor scratching of from shoes is a little disappointing....

How has it held up over the last couple years?
Sold the truck after 2 years of doing this, high used areas like door handles or shoulder rest on door will began to fade, but nothing a quick touch up can’t fix.
So did you have to mod the seat mounts? Or did they bolt right in
Everything bolted right in.
Just go to the wreckers and buy some black seat belts if you can.
I got the 3-5 drop with recommended shocks. looks good. But sucks when going over bumps it bounced pretty bad. Especially the rear
I never got that. I just put some kyb shocks that where shorter.
@icsivan1679 how much shorter than stock shocks? And does it bounce over bumps? Or is that normal when lowering a truck.
By any chance did you used the same shocks for the front, Juan from ,,,Katy ,TX
I used some shorter kyb shocks. Just we t to my local auto parts store and went through shocks that would fit my truck and I got the shortest they had. I think it was 3 inches shorter than oe
How does it feel when you touch those parts you painted, like dry paint or like plastic (smooth)??
This paint is designed for this. It feels like original. You will have a smell for a couple days though.

How often you use the rocket light?
Not as much as I thought. Battery life also sucks. Even with a 6amp battery
@ICS Ivan agreed , think I paid 150-200 and never pull it out. Awkward to tote it around too

@@colossalnetwork8887I will say I did order some and I ended up grinding down some of the welds and painted them 🤷 not a big deal but for the money they should be better but they work great I had no fitment issues
What about the smell?
I have a 1 year update video. The smell lasted about a week, after that nothing.

What was the torque spec for the 3 castle nuts, not the jam or lock nuts on the adjusting sleeves?

Hellyea nice! Did you consider buying the shocks djm recommends ,What tire & wheel setup are you running, do they rub?
Nope didn’t have to. Just went to o’reillys and bought some shorter shocks. Ride was great not bumpy at all. No rubbing either.
How’s the paint holding up as of today? (03/2023) Doing my dash soon from tan to black (sc300).
Not too sure I sold the truck, but I can say it lasted at least 2 years. Except for the high use areas like by the door. Only thing I would do different is use adhesion promoter primer before painting.
