Thanks for the video man!! I went down a worm hole trying to find aftermarket sway bars for the trucks without factory ones. Found out they’re pretty much all discontinued🥲 I didn’t want to go this route but I’m glad someone did it so I know how. Thanks!!
Dude that would be awesome. But it looks like the bracket that goes under the spring would probably give you a camber issue because of the ibeam. It’s almost like adding a leveling kit without changing the camber bolts or dropping the I beams with a new bracket.
If you do djm brop beams get adjustable camber bushings at same time it will save you a headache when getting an alignment and keep from wearing inside of tires I got 3 inch dim dream beams 2 inch belltec drop springs they don't work well together I have a lil bit of rub where beam rubs a coil on the spring but stock springs were fine I went 5 inch in front and had to trim fenders inside fenderwells and rub the plastic hitting bumps so now have to tub front so just gonna bag it eventually wanna get rest of body done before I start another project on the project 🤣
Man that’s a huge drop lol. Luckily with the 3 inch drops camber was fine I only had to get my toe adjusted. But I bet if I go any lower I will need the camber bushing. What did you do to the rear?
@@icsivan rear is axle on top drop spring with a drop shackle had to tub bed to get tires to fit up in frame is slightly c notched about 4 or 5 inch also but needs redone when I bag it so I can lay frame
You absolutely can! I believe you just have to make the hole bigger on the piece where the spring sits and the sway bar links bolt on to, other than that everything else should be the same, if you have any questions let me know.

Where did you get the front coil spring sway-bar supports from. I can’t find a mid 90’s 2wd to take them off of, and the 4x4’s supports will not work on a 2wd.
Great video! I finally found a good sway bar at the junkyard yesterday. Literally just needed to unbolt the spring clip and the bottom 1 1/8 bolt. Then used the big junkyard engine hoist to lift each side by the frame and it came out. Planning to give it a coat of fresh paint and install into my 93 obs soon. I watched this video months ago and knew I would be doing the same to try and get rid of that hard turning sway. Thank

Good vid bro . . . Is your f150 an XL ? & if so what year is your truck ? Reason being is i just bought a 1995 f150 XL 4x4 & am putting a few grand $ into it new brakes front & back & a 6 inch superlift with 33/10.5/15 s , the kit comes with a sway bar relocation kit which is just 2 little brackets to drop the sway bar a few inchs to get full articulation after the lift goes in . . . .however after seeing the kit i realized there is no sway bar on my truck or even that big bracket that it bolts to sooo i've been looking everywhere online trying to find a sway bar for it not happening auto parts store doesn't show 1 listed for my 1995 XL sooo that being said is thee XL model a base model ...i'm thinking it is ....hence no power anything & no AC either , what Year , Make & Model did you pull that sway bar of of ? Just trying to figure out this whole sway bar situation i have ....your info would be greatly appreciated ...Thx Bro 😉
Yes, mine is an XL which is base model. But mine had that bracket the sway bar bolts onto, even if you don’t have it does your actual frame have holes where it could mount to? If you just pull the whole thing of a higher trim like an XLT or Eddie Bauer trim. If not SD trucks .com sells a sway bar kit, but they are kind of pricy in my opinion. Good luck man.

Actually no camber issue what so ever. Took it to get align and I think it was like a .1 degree difference.
Yeah. The parts are almost the same thickness.

If you're referring to the Hellwig, it's not made any longer. You'll see places claiming to sell them but they don't know yet they can't get them.

Off Craigslist, took me a while to find them. There’s some on eBay but people are asking up to $150 for a pair. Best bet is junkyard.
