Hey man i just found your channel and i'm loving it! I have a 96 f-150 that's pretty basic right now and i want to paint the interior. i've got so many ideas for my truck and i just watched a bunch of your videos and it really helps.
The trim looks good. Of course the plastic is going to get scratches but that's normal . I want to do my 2000 tahoe. It has a tan color and I don't like it. I want to change the color
Like you're One year update. I was curious about weather or not you ever put that vapor barrier or the heavy duty plastic that was present from the factory did you replace that as well. I do live in Texas so most people will probably say this is not necessary I don't want my work to not be complete Because I wasn't able to replicate a flat piece of plastic underneath my freshly painted door panels. Thanks in advance
Not too sure I sold the truck, but I can say it lasted at least 2 years. Except for the high use areas like by the door. Only thing I would do different is use adhesion promoter primer before painting.
Lol this is best 1 year review..... "I already had that crack" "And i missed that spot so dont look a that" So duplicolor scratching of from shoes is a little disappointing....
I was wanting to know what kind of springs you had on the front as well as the shocks in the front and back I’m going to be doing the same things with the dream beams on mine but the truck itself has burnt coils from before I got it and I need to get new ones
nice channel you got sancho keep up the good work

I didn’t, I live in Southern California so I see no use for It. But, it is a good habit to replace it or put it back.
How’s the paint holding up as of today? (03/2023) Doing my dash soon from tan to black (sc300).

Would you recommend putting clear coat over the paint when it's dry to protect it from scratches
You can try it, but according to the can you don’t need it. I just put an adhesion promoter primer before I painted its holding up well.
Would clear coating had helped
Did u clear coat it
I did after, but I couldn’t find 2k clear in matte finish I didn’t want it to be shinny. So I just did a 1k Matte clear.
Are you selling the truck on offer up
Yes

Thank you for update
How did you do the dash? Did you take it out? Or just tape everything off?
I have a video on it. It’s called
“From tan to black”
@@icsivan thank you man, if you want like a subscribe my channel for the long box of mine! Thanks brother
On my channel just finished the whole interior from old blue to charcoal grey.
Nice
Add tach on your gauge and the lower door piece inside the cab
How many cans did you use?
Did u use flat or gloss?

OEM coils in the front. As for the shocks I just went with whatever DJM recommended on their website.
@@icsivan okie dokie thanks you
