Just ordered the complete for 399. After seeing the plus at costco for 349. I went down the same rabbit hole of "why the hell cant i find this anywhere to see if its worth it!". Ended up on dyson site and saw the complete was on sale for $50 more with 1 extra attachment free and jumped at it. Its nice to know the price difference is just attachments.

I have one and what this video does not show or highlight is that with the battery which works ( 4 or 5 AH) both the battery and adapter become very hot ! Then I try cuts out after a minute or two then cuts in again BUT becoming increasingly hot. Ok think you need to redo your video to inform.

thank you for making this video, the amazon reviews were all over the place but seemed like they all said the powerstacks didnt work. some dude on amazon said they tried all the dewalt batteries too and they didnt work. either he was full of shit or just had a faulty adapter. i will be getting one. thanks again for putting this video out

planning on installing these in a drop ceiling that is made out of wood paneling. There is a large void between the original ceiling and the drop ceiling. I am wondering if I should build a little box for these that I can mount in the ceiling so the low end sounds better.. any thoughts?

Would plugging in a DeWalt AC to DC adapter work with the vacuum? The only thing preventing the Dyson cordless vacuums from being perfect are the fact that they can vacuum while charging, and their battery runtime and lifetime are meagerly inadequate.

Where is the rod guys ? that fan is not a flush mount is a hanging mount system ,you have to have a longer rod ,the flush mounting doesn’t have a canopy like that and it has a different bracket ,still the guy filming doesn’t help much with all that talk !

If the guy who has the phone and talks a lot ,could keep a steady hand filming this wouldn’t be such a terrible video,the real working guys assembling the difficult fan are very patient …

How’re you satisfied with the mirror after several years of use?🤔

Just installed my CDT-5800-C II, completing my 5.1.4 setup. Easy install. Wish I had a 'rotor zip" to cut out the hole (like the installer used in video) but made due with my hand saw. I'd say the most difficult was holding the speaker up inside the hole while screwing in that first screw, as those screws are long and it took a long time to manually screw in. I switched to using my power drill which made it MUCH easier and faster. After Dirac Live calibration, my system has come "Alive"...these speakers sound fantastic! I'm re-watching all my Atmos movies with a new set of ears! BTW, I'm a 73 year young female and proud of what I've accomplished!
