    I have a few around the house. The first one I bought ages ago, the smallest one, seems to be the most durable and consistent one. Turns on every time. The others, though, while bigger, struggle to turn on most of the time. Like they struggle in the cold. Sometimes theyll turn on, sometimes not.
    The most annoying thing is the motion sensor range is so limited. I have them mounted on the side of the house to light up the area when passing by, but you practically have to walk in front of them to get light up.

    If you want any of these solar light to charge during winter months, you also have to brush the snow / ice off of the solar panel. I have an old auto windshield brush mounted on a 10 foot pole.

    I LOVE LECLSTAR but is pricy ..is another older model maybe a year older on that LECLSTAR ,308 LEDs Solar Lights Outdoor Motion Sensor Outdoor for 2 pack is $26 , also very bright too just don't have the bottom part like the newer version in ur hand , i BOUGHT few pairs of that $26 ones, very good ...but that one in ur hand 2pack is for $50 usually goes down with discount $45 still damn pricy , should be around mid 30s for 2pack, so is better off go with older version! F $50, i don't care how good is it ..is damn rip off!

    Wow! There are so many brands and styles on Amazon and the 3 I focused on the most are the exact 3 you mentioned. Well, I was mostly interested in the Aootek and HMcity because of the reviews and video Aootek had, and decided Aootek was more positive reviews. The 3rd brand was what my brother bought for my mom’s backyard, the larger ones and she loves it. Thank you for the video. I’m buying these for the animal shelter I volunteer at so volunteers can continue walking the dogs when it’s dark outside in the yard areas.

  • @samfish6938
    @samfish6938 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can buy them for $5-8
    In ross and Burlington and tjmax grocery outlet for $15 go for separate solar wired panel with 5 heads they are about
    2-3 times brighter than these

    Any new lights for 2024 that are better than Leclstar?

  • @jamesbridges7750
    @jamesbridges7750 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've had 8 of the Aootek up for two years now and 7 of the 8 have been perfect. 1 struggles to stay on all night in the dim+bright motion setting, but they do have a failure mode that switches to off+ dim motion. The off+ bright setting is probably best for marginal sun, the panels might be a little small otherwise.

    Would be nice if the lights offered an adjustable temperature setting. I need a pair to use as accent lighting at the end of a driveway and would like to match the warm temp (about 2700k) of my landscape lighting, but these only seem available in 5000k or so. Too harsh for my taste.
