Oh gosh, those especially in snowy states are the junkiest cars ever made. I remember having to remove the rear control arm bolts on one. There is actually holes in the car body that have water drain over those bolts. Some of the worst engineering in automotive history

Thomas I have a 2002 silverado that i love but I baby it but we have a Toyota. I can drive my chevy when i want but when i have issues i use my Toyota full time while working on the chevy. Get a tacoma or tundra if you can. I think the tacomas are better on gas. Even the ac feels cooler. Keep both if you need to for your liking but Toyota is the way to go generally speaking.

God never gives us more than we can handle. I feel your pain, brother. I went through this about six years ago on a 2002 frontier. The guy I bought it from deleted the heater core. And tied up the hoses with a piece of wire. It rusted away and dumped all the fluid out. Ultimately, I had to pull the engine, change out old seals, gaskets and install new heads. Hang in there, brother, it does get better
