I started losing coolant today. Yep it’s all in that area. And the engines hot so it’s like bubbling. Very hard to see I had a shine a flashlight down there to see. Thanks for the video.

I did it on a couple jeeps and it’s an absolute nightmare if they don’t have aftermarket steel fender flares you can lean off to reach in or if it’s a Cherokee where you can remove the fan and have space to sit on the steel radiator support. But yeah once I got it down it’s down quick unless it’s a stock wrangler. Then my back hurts

So so so many screws :( taking my car to the shop today. It started smoking last night and there was oil leaking all on the inside. Hopefully the oil cooler is the only issue. Replaced the thermostat last week. Thanks for your video

A small tip.....I always roll a couple rags, and place them over any open intake holes, or crumple paper towels and stick them in the holes. You never know when you turn around and can't find a nut, screw or bolt, only to find it when you start the engine and it pokes a hole through the top of a piston because it fell into the intake. It's happened in a couple shops I've worked in. It'll save you the heartache of having to buy the customer an engine.

The oil cooler needs to be replaced by the all metal oil cooler because the plastic ones have the same exact issues and you have to replace it again in 30K miles

made sure it lined up plus looked for loose/extra gaskets. tips?

    2012 Chrysler 200 3.6L here..
My car is throwing a P0882.
It happened just as the oil filter housing failed & began leaking coolant & oil all over my transmission.
Have you ever heard of that?
It shifts fine until the engine warms up, then goes into limp mode..
    Obviously, its parked now.
I'm hoping all of the fluid leaking on the transmission wiring would perhaps trip this code or it's a designed protective measure for low fluids..
    Anyone experience this?

Hey bud keep up the good work and like you always say hope feeling good mentally and physically. My wife and I will be starting up a mobile repair mechanic business after shye is done with her schooling for heavy diesel repair. yes her. We were both Navy she was a diesel Mechanic and I was an aircraft Mechanic. I was wondering if did you use any of veteran benefits to help start your business as in va small business stuff. We Have thought of our name for the business which is squids heavy diesel repair with our logo being a squid holding onto a semi truck. Oh on a side note if you have not done so look into this benefit. It is the dependenant education assistance. My wife is using it and is having all her schooling paid for plus the the state I live in because I am rated at 100% reimburses the VA And school so all of her tuition and her tools and toolbox (which she gets to keep) is free. I don't know how other states have it set up so it may not work the same in each state. We live in Oregon just to let you know. Sorry so long just wanted to share that little tid bit. Have a great day and stay safe.

Watching you use nothing to cover those ports while servicing that, and all the coolant and oil you dumped down the cylinder shows you have no business touching other people's vehicle for money.
