Yea, my battery is 2016 but started going out this week. But The more technology in the vehicle the more amps they require so the battry gets used harder
I had one of these escalades, they have transmission issues, i ended up having to get a new chip key for it because of all the electrical issues. I gave up on luxury vehicles. 😂

My escalade screen on dash won't come up and doesn't crank only the lights from the inside turn on...and we put different batteries and cables for over 45 minutes and start won't crank and start
Semper Fi buddy Workin on a 2018 escalade zero power new battery fully charged nothing load test battery good check fuses good check for parasitic draw yes replaced cable from bus bar on top of battery rechecked draw gone still zero power check grounds on block and frame good negative cable ordered looks a little rough but shows good ground on power probe Took power probe put on alternator no voltage from bus bar on top of battery applied voltage everything comes on and it will turn over but not start im not sure where its loosing it looked at bus bar seems ok any ideas???the cable i changed was from bus bar to alternator
@@semperfimechanic I even swapped identical starter relays from fuse block ok bus bar there is one ground and to it cable from fuse box across firewall and connected to it is cable that goes to alternator like i said before though when i apply voltage from power probe everything comes on maybe i see if i can find someone with access to schematic idk im at a loss on this one usually most the time if you have no voltage its a ground problem

Yeah specially with the cars that have a ton of modules it'll make the whole thing go haywire.
