Absolutely 💯
Thats why i dont throw them out even if its expired, like imma jmuse it till i cant no more
Yeah, it really surprises me that some girlies thinks that throwing away their products is stopping overconsumption when they already bought the products
i didn’t realise this phone case was actually trendy till really recently i thought we all thought it was ridiculous and peak overconsumption
My ears died in headphones
Some of you in the comments here are painfully painfully painfully naive. This packaging is to be wasteful, it’s not for disabled people.
this kinda hitting like o brave new world where ppl r brainwashed to pitch things out from birth and always buy new but it just tik tok overconsumption for me tend to hit when i see clearance and markdowns because the retailer is going to be pitching the products themselves anyways.
I hate that I fell for over consumption. My mom never used makeup, so I had no experience with it. I started watching makeup gurus with their huge collections, and seeing all the cool different products, and I wanted to try them all... so now I have probably $1000-$2000 of expired products that I can't make myself throw away, because then it was all a waste 😮💨
I just wont buy it then imo.
I've literally used some of the same makeup pallets for YEARS (yes, even after they expired) to be able to finish them off, I currently have too many for me to finish off in the next year or two but I'm going to try so they don't go to waste!
CHAO day one of saying hi in different languages 8/100
Where i work, I'm cleaning the testers for these every other day😂
It is same amount as the cranberry lip oil too that peopke say wasnt a scam.
So shit. Make up looks the same. Global warming is on the rise. All because yall wanna catch fish people
I live in NYC and we have facebook groups for each neighborhood called “Buy Nothing” and people gift new/used stuff to each other (I got my dining table through it). Skincare is one of the top things that get snatched up i.e: ordinary products So don’t throw stuff away. Give it away! (If it isn’t expired… if you’re throwing away mass amounts of expired products, you are definitely overconsuming. Think of it like groceries, you feel pretty shitty every time something good in your fridge goes to waste.
Lots of areas have buy nothing Facebook groups! Always worth checking if there's one for your area (and if not, maybe you get to be the one to start your area's group!)
I just broke my rare beauty blush
Its easy to waste eyeshadow. Who's gojng to use an entire 12 color palette in six months? A 🤡?
THIS!!!!
I hate it when I buy something new and it doesn’t end up being right for me, like I don’t want to throw it away and just waste it but I also don’t want to use it 😢 I usually give those to my mom just in case she likes them
Lol I do the same 😂 my husband and mom get all the products that don't end up working for me!
Try donating it to a womans shelter or selling it on a reselling site/app at a lower price if your country has them!
This foundation is amazing but the problem is the dropper. I would continue to buy this foundation if it came with a pump. It is just SOOO messy!!
Most of beauty products only last 6-12 months after they're opened. I always wonder how people who have tons of them finished the products in 6-12 months 🤔
Absolutely! Cosmetics have a fairly short shelf life, so having an entire "collection" means you're going to have a lot of expired products on hand 😬😬
Oh I’ve had a concealer tube for 3 years…. 😬
This is how far gone we are, that throwing away perfectly good things you’ve paid money for is branded “underconsumption” instead of just waste 😂
💯🫠🫠🫠
at least donate them to womens’ shelters before you open them or they go bad! what a complete waste ugh
100%! I know not every shelter accepts gently used products, but you can always share with family and friends who don't have as much disposable income 🤷♀️
omg that's such a good idea, people should do this so much more
I can't 😳😳😳😳😳
I think many people online have such a skewed POV on "normal" consumption
How are you going to throw away perfectly good products and then pat yourself on the back for being "more sustainable"!!? 😳🫠🫠🫠 make it make sense!!
Well said! 👏👏👏
People should be taught not to "declutter". People should live with their choices and only keep the products at their place for decoration. #1 they can't buy more, because there's no space, # they don't need to buy decorations. Stop poluting the planet.
Well said! @@LunaLo-f3g
Looks like its for accessibility....
Wait I actually have that one😭😭✋✋ Penneyssss🙏
Packaging is cool and all but is that a good sunscreen??
@ChopstickUrFootOff I use it for my body - unfortunately I can't use chemical uv filters on my face (my skin is easily sensitized🫠)
Closer to more sustainable and useful packaging! Also just the concept of showing someone the bottle “There’s an egg in there”
Firsts if all this lipgloss us kike three dollars.which Is cheap considering other lip glosses on the market and many people pay around 47 more dollars for the Dior lip gloss which has about 2 more ml .also a very good Luo gloss I own it also no one talking about how no lip company films it all the way if they did it, would be sticky and gross then people would give it bad revives so overall leave essence alone
I’m just here for the serm comments. 🤣
Braille stickers work too, and would solve this issue while being cost-effective for the companies. I bought some skincare products in Japan that came with braille stickers already on them.
You work in cosmetic Packaging? That‘s so specific how did you end up there
@puritykn hey love!! Kinda a long story 😅 I got my esthetics license when I was 18 so I could work my way through college. I was a sales associate at various beauty retailers, like Ulta and the Bloomingdale's cosmetic department for a couple years. I was fortunate to leverage my strong sales record paired with my esthetics license to transition to working at a skincare laboratory as their Head of New Business Development (HUGE career jump, incredibly grateful for this "big break" in my career🙏). I worked there for a 4 years before I decided to transit into product formula AND packaging sales, and I quickly fell in love with cosmetic packaging 😊 the rest is history as they say lol
@@allisonturquoise wow thats so interesting! Thanks for sharing
espresso be sounding a bit different today
@@sturniolovxc lol 🤣 I took some artistic liberties with the remix
So, it's actually You who are scamming us. 🤮🤮🤮
She isn’t Idk if you’re not smart or just didn’t watch the video, but it’s clear you can’t fill up lip gloss tubes all the way
wait whaaat!! i need this!
The pouches are the absolute worst material to recycle. Solid plastic can be recycled but soft pouch plastic literally never is
@nicanz1500 while it's true pouches are rarely recycled curbside, they drastically reduce the amount of material used - and can be recycled via in store recycling programs, like the ones in Sephora and Ulta
Let’s normalize refilling stations! Brands take notes.
If they had a stopper this brand would be ON TOPPPO
10ml of product for £3? that’s a steal and not to mention it’s not sticky and actually shines
Lets not go matte again. I looked so dry...
they want influencers to drop it on their face to waste product too
Wild that they didn't make the atomizer a detached piece in the box with a second screw on lid so the cap could still be displayed but prevent slipping during shipping like most refillable liquids
You look soo cute when you smile simin💕 would love to see a fragrance video for beginners....
Nah! Fuck at home refills. You are making it dead easy for the counterfeits to flood the market
she looked at the pantone palette and said "Ah! This one! This one! The soy latte color" and the designer was like "Ma'am, the color is literally called baby diarrhea"
@@ShanaMoe 🤣🤣🤣
THE LIP OIL DRIED OUT AFTER AN WEEK!
how to make a career in cosmetic packaging
It is a scam. We aren’t complaining about the physics behind it we are complaining that companies are using this kind of technique to give less product.
I kind of like the look of the frosted glass but yeah, finding the right shade is hard. Especially when you’re on the extreme ends of the skin colour spectrum. Im super pale and all the foundations I’ve seen and tried have been either still too dark or the wrong undertone with the one I need not available. I also don’t really like the packages with pumps and prefer squeeze tubes because I can get more out of it and get all my money’s worth. Because I am relatively low income 😅
my favourite snack is probably crackers or candy 🍬
