@@adking18 yea dont know about that with Rachael, didnt have much time to get going again before Henrys went in to one of their annual dips. I do know what you mean though, not quite sure but gun to head right now if I had money down I'd prefer the lad on. @smoking_cheltenham Yeah I'm starting to have a bit of squeaky bum time as I know how easily these things can go wrong when it's all looking good but would like to think I'm set up OK for a profitable festival. I had 16/1 sir gino for the Triumph all of last year and he was pulled out the week of the festival so they can fall apart quickly. Jukebox Man ruled out for the season today works out well for me though as I'd like to think I've got the Browns covered now as long as dancing city doesn't win it. Got my biggest bet on ballyburn and then got brighterdaysahead to win and quai de bourbon and croke park covered each way. Hopefully any others that fall by the wayside in next few weeks are also ones I don't have on as I'm sure there'll be a few more of them drop as the screw starts to get turned in prep.

Workahead only has the one entry I think so I am tempted to play him. William Munny was far from disgraced on Sunday and workahead dispatched him easily. Definitely wouldn't put you off that. Henry's horses running really poorly at the moment but you would expect him to have them primed for the festival.

@@The_Cheltenham_Bandit I know you take a book approach and in that case I'd say definitely get Workahead onside, he'd be one of just a handful you could give a good chance to on the day. He's a player for sure.

@@peterbason2882 nicely done mate, Paddys do some mad shit sometimes. I backed Redemption Day last year for Punchestown antepost, I think around 12/1, then after final decs they pushed him out to 25/1, I had on much less than I wanted too for fear of breaking the account and 5 mins later was back to 12/1 or so. Wish I'd have had the lot on and to hell with the account now🤣

Glad to have her onside, was lucky to get a shade over 6/1 with a 365 boost, but I've got about a 75/25 split in favour of Sixandahalf and thats how I see it at the moment. Left a small bit of room to have a small bit on something else nearer the time if I fancy. Yea agree they look short enough right now and Stencil will be popular for the Boodles but got to see what turns up in that Naas race where all the winners keep coming from, albeit the winner last year didnt run but was a nr and would have been fav. I am not knocking him. There is a serious leak in his yard , that is driving the ante post markets. But to whose benefit? I don't think Nicky is involved, but l just can't figure it out and why all seem to know in advance and it just snowballs from there.. Think Kaid A'uthie will go Supreme if he's good enough and think they're all good chances, I'd say Banbridge will probably go Gold Cup if anywhere. You may need to get lucky with the weather for him, if its decent ground but downpours forecast for Friday then you're on with the Ryanair. Unless they go Champion Chase lol. @@smoking_cheltenham Welcome. Do have any thoughts on Il Est Francais for Cheltenham. I see he is in early decs for all 3 championship races. I am a huge fan and could see him blowing apart either the Ryanair or even the Champion Chase if unleashed. Anything with suspect jumping at Grade 1 pace will be toast IMHO. Would be great to see him in the Champion Chase that would be spectacular to watch and we would see if Jonbon or Gaelic are true champions or pretenders in a weak division.

@albahathri I hope he goes Champion Chase, should make it a great spectacle and give Gaelic a lovely tow into the race!

@@whoppersupper3970 HI mate. Dont generally have many bets through the week, can have several at the weekend depending. Week before last I had 1 bet, same last week, a few yesterday and a few today. I do focus a lot on Cheltenham and the big festivals though.

@@GR44AY honestly I dont know mate. Very hard to quantify that run, thought Kiss Will looked equally impressive the day after but until we see them up in class we're kinda guessing. I think Willie may send the prefered one of those to the listed race at Punchestown that he used for Tullyhill last year and if he was entered there and you really like him that could be the time to play. Funny Supreme at the min though and if you like one at a price wouldn't put you off could be one of those years.

@@smoking_cheltenham Agree mate I was just comparing RPR’s with horses that are priced shorter he put up 130 and it was only a 2nd start same with Kiss run 126 just have to see what Willie is going to send to what races cause he’s got so many it’s outrageous.

@Martin-vs1wt haven't watched replay yet but yea thought he was much braver, that was the main thing he had to do. He turned the form around with the runner up who would have improved plenty himself and the 3rd ran well behind, cant remember but think Lecky Watson. He's only 6 so has lots of improvement in him and looks to be screaming out for 3m. I think he's a player for the Browns and at least should have booked his place today I'd have thought. If he's gonna be stable no. 1 probably not, I'd imagine that'd be Ballyburn or Dancing City at the moment but hopefully he'll be given his chance anyway.

@russellstanton7583 doesn't look like it at the moment, I think Minella Premier might have been his one for it but must be proving difficult to train. It is difficult for a 4yo, Nicky tried with Binolular and got beat and he was Champion Hdl class and with the owner already having the fav surely you'd prefer favs for 2 races than one. Saying that I get these guys wrong all the time and if Mundi didnt get there then I could see it happening. The Supreme lot dont look up to much at the min and I reckon he'd be near enough fav.

Karoline Banbou now a N/R today so doesn't look like we'll get anymore insight there.

Good stuff mate. Be Aware is definitely on the shortlist for that Coral Cup, he's the sort I wouldn't mind playing ew, not 100% he'll put his head down and get it done and dont think he's a graded horse but looks sure to run a huge race. I think it wont be very long before that 14's Diva Luna looks a big price, might have a cover bet on her I think she'll start half those odds at best and will be easy enough to trade some back if so inclined. Cheers Peter and agree we'll know a lot more in a couple of weeks but I think they'll still be quite a bit of uncertainty around some races regards targets.

Yea I guess there's plenty of clued up people out there and although I'm not on social media myself I imagine it has a snowball effect on some fancies. Agree how that horse got in kim muir I'll never know off an Irish mark of 143 but he did take a fair swipe at his other runner percival. Doesn't seem much consistancy in that regard. To be fair Supreme was 10/1 the field until recently but I know what you mean, dont think you'll get even 15/8 for Sir Gino for the Champion Chase after the Arkle. I think the prices for the hcps aren't much better, I'm sure there was like 16 horses priced 16/1 or under antepost for the Pipe last year and everytime I think I've spotted one its joint or 2nd fav!

I dont know, I'm only guessing 10, could be way out, and 8lb tax would be harsh, I think the chasers tend to get a bit less than the hurdlers generally. 125 did look a bit of an aborition though and the UK hcpr tends to take hdls form into account more so could be harsh. Maybe more bad placing than bad ride? Taking on a 147 horse was risky, I'm sure he didnt run to that as there was plenty close up behind but the horse jumped and travelled so well I thought he did alright getting beat the 4, put him in deep at last 2 otherwise I think he'd have just about won. Maybe should have booked Mark Walsh for the ride🤣. He's the master at that game. What mark would you consider him interesting off? Not sure myself but on that Haydock run and watching him jump here I think I'd still be interested at around 140 maybe.

He got 135 in Ireland today. Last season Percy got crucified by the uk handicapper. I’d say 142 lowest possibly more. He may go NH Chase and it won’t matter. Just do not understand what he was doing. Anyway great video again. You’ll get a profit again no bother I’d say.

@@Cheltenham-Chat that's a great spot Mark so far out. Only really came on my radar watching it back yesterday so I was well behind😊. He did take a swipe at Percy but let his other one in lighlty, I'd take a guess at 140 but might be wrong. I'm guessing that's maybe 5lb more than you was hoping for when you started backing him so not ideal understand your frustration but it might not stop him and I'd say he'll be easy enough to trade some back if you wanted, quite likely to start single figures if he turns up there. Not sure what amateur he'd have in mind? Looks like a long term plot so guessing he'd have sounded somebody out but maybe after the changes he'd prefer to send him to the 3m 6f with Keith up. @@albahathri wouldn't be putting a line through him but he wouldn't be for me at the moment. Does seem like a year it could pay to go leftfield though so dont let me put you off, if the drf doesn't throw up anything then contenders like him become more interesting for sure.

@@johngreene347 yea didn't expect Constitution Hill to go again before the Festival, in my mind that increases his Champion Hdl chances, the reason I think is it suggests he's proving easier to train this season thus more likely to show his best form. Will be very interesting to see Anzadam again should give us a better idea of his ceiling. Jonbon should be winning but his Cheltenham prep has been his worst performance of the season 3 times in a row I think. I dont know enough of the Triumph horse to say but certainly the market says he wins. Energumene is well suited to Ascot I think although the ground might be going for him. I think Willie was always coming here with him, he prepped in it both years before his Champion Chase victories and wouldn't be one for changing a winning formula I'd say. He did get beat both times but ran a huge race in defeat to Shishkin. I dont think either horse will run upto his mark and wont be having a bet but reckon Jonbon will get it done but probably not impressively. All the best John and I'd say you know plenty😊

@ no probs mate. Out of interest, do you go to the Cheltenham festival ? When I went a few years ago it was just way too busy. I now go away with the lads for the week, this year Benidorm as we did last year. It’s a great atmosphere with all the racing on big screens, decent weather, and a cracking drink.
