    Great video as usual. Interesting comments from Willie on Anzadam, first Aintree was on the radar but the fact that it's a longer trip didn't impress him. Then a novice chase campaign next season was mentioned seeing the manner that he jumped the third last hurdle. If he does go novice chasing he would likely clash with the Donnelly owned Lalumba who is set for the same. In the end I was somewhat surprised that Willue didn't mention the Eurovision Song Contest as his big target. Willie is impossible to read, he said previously that Lossiemouth wouldn't meet Constitution Hill before Cheltenham as it would take away the mystery of the big day. That was misleading too. I can picture Willie planning his breakfast the night prior. "Now will I have porridge? There's eggs in there that look good, oh don't forget the corn flakes....". Willie's Cheltenham bingo lol

I backed Redemption Day last year for Punchestown antepost, I think around 12/1, then after final decs they pushed him out to 25/1, I had on much less than I wanted too for fear of breaking the account and 5 mins later was back to 12/1 or so. Workahead only has the one entry I think so I am tempted to play him. William Munny was far from disgraced on Sunday and workahead dispatched him easily. Definitely wouldn't put you off that. Henry's horses running really poorly at the moment but you would expect him to have them primed for the festival.

Jonbon, Dancing City, The Jukebox man look awfully short now in there targets they must be much bigger prices on the day surely.Stencil was the horse i took out of the weekend loved his jumping got a bit tired but stuck at it looks a lovely beast going forward Anzadam well he has some swagger eh!! great video mate.

Left a small bit of room to have a small bit on something else nearer the time if I fancy.

    Interesting point you made concerning bookie sponsored podcast last year everyone one thought Johnny Dinesen cracked it with a massive price on ballyburn for supreme will know what happened there if you watch carefully enough sometimes you can work out when the pundits are putting up horses on behalf of the bookies because they are pundits not actors. CH and loads of nickys horses were sick last year not injured CH is special yyou got to go to 1978 and golden sygnet to find a novice hurdler that might give him a race and CH would be fav for any champion hurdle in the last 60 years. We should be grateful to have a horse in our time and on that subject GDC if he wins 3rd gold cup easy like last 2 years. He would put himself in the picture as alltime great so we should appreciate these horses even though the are never betting options I thought anzadam and William munny looked possible chasers.dancing city looks the yardstick for 3 mile novice chaser he’s on different course this year he might favour it then again he might not like Cheltenham .went off on my own ramble and flask job there mate keep the videos coming 🐎❤️🐎

  • @adking18

    Got to be careful to say this quietly as you're not allowed to criticise the sport's golden girl but I have a feeling some of Henry's troubles could be down to the jockey not riding as strongly as she was since her injuries. The horses are clearly being peaked for the festival so it's not solely down to Rachael but I do worry a little that she's partly to blame.
    I've had a couple of slightly risky bets this week. Took the ante post for Bioluminescence in the mares and took 14s Jagwar for the novices handicap and 16s Iroko for the Ultima before they ran at the weekend. Also took 16s for Delta Work in the cross country. All are fair bets but could quickly go wrong. I've gone 7/1 NRNB for kopek des bordes in the Turners as I couldn't get on anywhere where he was 10s and the difference between 7s NRNB and 8s AP wasn't worth the gamble.
    Masaccio, Transmission and Johhnywho all interest me for handicaps but don't know what races they're going for yet. Skelton is building a bit of an army for the grand annual with Unexpected Party, Etalon and Harper's Brook all looking well handicapped I think. Stencil also looks a good Fred Winter shout but hasn't been missed in the market and probably have to look elsewhere now. I was also hoping Brentford Hope might get a mark to go in the County but getting so close to CH even heavily eased down might put paid to that.
    I left Maughreen alone and quite happy with that now - Sixandahalf's big defeat of Qualimita looks much stronger form than what Maughreen showed and she looks a false favourite to me, but obviously the fact she came out and won meant she couldn't get any bigger than she was before running - similar thing to what happened with Lulamba where really all he had to do was win and he was inevitably going to shorten.
    I think we pretty much have a complete jigsaw after the DRF so I'll probably have to have a go at some of them before they run at the weekend - need to make my choice on the Irish juveniles and what i want as my 2nd string behind Lulamba and hope East India Dock isn't the winner. Busy week ahead.any shorter

      @@adking18 yea dont know about that with Rachael, didnt have much time to get going again before Henrys went in to one of their annual dips. I do know what you mean though, not quite sure but gun to head right now if I had money down I'd prefer the lad on. I wonder if she'll have a big profile winner in the Spring and maybe hang up her boots.
      Like those bets mate, you've timed those just right I'd say, nice tickets to be sat on.
      Those horses you mention of definite interest in the hcps, I'd be pretty sure you'll have a profitable Festival.
      Thanks for the input mate and all the best

    • @adking18
      @adking18 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @smoking_cheltenham Yeah I'm starting to have a bit of squeaky bum time as I know how easily these things can go wrong when it's all looking good but would like to think I'm set up OK for a profitable festival. I had 16/1 sir gino for the Triumph all of last year and he was pulled out the week of the festival so they can fall apart quickly.
      Jukebox Man ruled out for the season today works out well for me though as I'd like to think I've got the Browns covered now as long as dancing city doesn't win it. Got my biggest bet on ballyburn and then got brighterdaysahead to win and quai de bourbon and croke park covered each way. Hopefully any others that fall by the wayside in next few weeks are also ones I don't have on as I'm sure there'll be a few more of them drop as the screw starts to get turned in prep.
