Bought myself a flask for Christmas! I knew it was the best purchase Iv done this year. Will look forward to the next video. Good luck over the next few days Steve
@@Cheltenham-Chat cheers Mark hoping Nicky's right regards his jumping, he normally is and looks the part. Yea impressed with those 2 aswell, should be big players come Cheltenahm.
Very good of you to put this up mate. Busy time of year for us all. Unlucky with the goldinthemountains bet. I had a shocker myself today. Great to see CH back to something like his best. Some might say Burdett road finished a bit close to CH to put a slight dampener on the form but not for me! I fancy Della Casa Lunga to run well at kempton tomorrow. And Paddy o Mahler at a big price at wetherby. As I’ve said loads of times already I’m on Monbeg Genius at all prices down from 14’s. Onwards to the new year (Fakenham for a day at the track NYD for me🙂)
Well you didn't even need a second cup of tea for that one. Great video as usual. Having seen the racing I'll wait your comments at a later date. Noisy Neighbour didn't disappoint, the filly looked very good too. Thought Lossiemouth was going well until the tapes went up. Some interesting races from the first day. Must get a screen cleaner spray for my television though, the races looked slightly murky. Told it was the fog and me thinking I had overdone it with the alcohol. Keep smiling😢
Would you not be tempted to double up Sir Gino Arkle and Ballyburn Browns? If Sir Gino beats him today I can't see Ballyburn going for the Arkle. That Browns market is deep so of course there's a risk there, but it almost feels like a calculated gamble if you're a Sir Gino fan to double up.
@@adking18 I do like having the odd relateable dbl like that. Makes sense, personally I have reservations that he'll want 3m so even if that's the way he goes at the min I'd be against him. It is a sound, well thought out double though and one I may regret not having.
@smoking_cheltenham Fair enough. Maybe we just take on Ballyburn to get beat at Cheltenham wherever he goes and multiply the regret by 100! It's not called gambling for no reason. For what it's worth I've done the same as you and just gone sir gino but at a slightly lower stake as I also have a bet on inthepocket for the arkle who I think could still be a threat. That 3 mile chase division is tying me in knots as it doesn't look like there's too much between croke park and better days ahead, then on bare form lines the horse better days ahead beat on debut was only beaten 3 quarters of a length further by dancing city so maybe there's not much in it there either. Over hurdles better days ahead was less than a length closer to dancing city at punchestown than Jukebox man was at Aintree. Obviously it's not that easy to just weigh up the distances across different races but there's a few pointers flying around that there might not be much between any of them! Then we have the issue that we haven't seen much soft ground yet this season and it could all change come March. Would like to see quai de Bourbon come out and just stamp a big claim on that race to save us the headache.
@adking18 yea I've got a few Browns tickets for some of the horses you mentioned there, namely Croke Park ew 100/1, Better Days Ahead 25/1 & Quai De Bourbon 33/1. I like Croke Park although nobody else seems too but watching them yesterday I'd have thought Better Days Ahead would be the one to take oit of that pair, track form, will improve for some dig and looks stamina laden. Dancing City looks maybe the best of them all on hdls form barr his run at Cheltenham which bothers me for him. Was very impressed with The Jukebox Man yesterday, they changed tactics with him so he's not just one dimentional anymore, I think at the min he's the one to beat. Like you though hoping Bourbon looks class tomorrow, if Pauls on him come Chelt rather than Dancing I think I'm nearly there with the race, would just have to have a decent bet on Jukebox and all good. And then Ballyburn just wins🤣 All the best mate and here's hoping for Sir Gino today, nervous lol.
Can't wait Steve for the Ballyburn v Gino clash have backed both ante post so can just enjoy. My heart tells me that 2miles is not Ballyburn's trip but his talent might be anough. If he beats Gino he will go evs/odds on then where Majborough fits in god knows.Anyway enjoy the racing and boy the Dublin Festival will soon be here.
@markjefferies435 yea not 100% sure on the result but then again I never am lol. 1 things for sure, as you suggest, we're going to end the day with a pretty short priced Arkle fav.
