Sorry this comment is so late, but those Dobys are just incredibly awesome cards. I mean that's a killer autograph. And i think I listened to most of the Ed Watt interview trying to find your question, but I'm glad I did -- it was actually really interesting. This video was chock full of cool stuff.

It still pains me to talk about the Mets, but at least we hung on longer against the Dodgers than the Yankees did. And yes I'm just catching up on videos -- but that foam baseball is freaking awesome - I'm seriously a little jealous! I still don't get what a buyback card is though, so you'll have to educate me at some point.

Of course, we will wholeheartedly welcome others into the club, but there are only so many Dan Dee Doby's to go around! 🤯🤯🤯Something about the look of that card, front and back, really really really (Really really really? Yes, really really really!) appeals to me! Hey Mookie, I always enjoy hearing your unique perspective on the hobby and seeing your eclectic collection! The Dan-Dee and Menko Doby cards have truly found the perfect home with you, where they’ll be appreciated and treasured for years to come. I had no idea there was a vintage Japanese card of Doby. And those Superman and Spiderman cards are fantastic additions too. Seeing that Superman card brought back memories of my own childhood favorites. I was always drawn to westerns, and I was a huge fan of the Lone Ranger. They made a campy movie version in 1981, which I thought was the absolute greatest thing at the time. I even had the metal lunchbox and recorded the sound of the movie on a tape recorder when it was on HBO so I could listen to it as I fell asleep! That Superman card made me think of the Lone Ranger set issued by Gum Inc. back in 1940. Those Trappers cards of the Murray brothers are pretty awesome too; they’ve got a bit of that colorful, iconic look that reminds me of the 1975 Topps baseball set. Thanks again for sharing-it’s always a pleasure to see what you’ve picked up!

Well it was nice to see one NY team put up a fight against the Dodgers. Sorry they didn’t finish the way you hoped, Mook, but what a season this was. They were one of the funnest teams to watch. They made a lot of people say OMG! The styrofoam ball is just an awesome piece of their history. Great gifts from the card amigos!

So many great gifts from some of the generous people in this card community. I really like the Superman card, and the Spider-Man rookie. Spider-Man is one of the Super hero GOATS, but he shared it with Jerry Koosman. Nothing wrong with that, lol.

Thank you for submitting a question to Mr. Watt. I was not familiar with the Mick stat against him so that was fun. I love that Superman card. That was the same card you brought to breakfast right? While I was looking at the picture of Doby with Jackie, Newcombe, and Campy, I was reminded of 4.06. The rule that states players in uniform cannot fraternize with opposing players or spectators while wearing their uniforms. They shall not interact or mingle with each other while wearing their uniforms. Of all the rules, I remembered that one. As a kid, I followed that rule. lol I wouldn't talk to anyone on the other team...unless a fight broke out. Ha Loved that Doby auto.

Fantastic mail day! Those pinhole cards just hit different. You have me looking for them now and I tell ya, I’m not the only one! I’m afraid the market might start drying up! The reveals were great. I love those vintage comic book cards . I picked up the 66 Topps Riddler at the National and wish I would have grabbed the cat woman from the same guy. I kept hearing a New Jersey guy walking behind me saying “Stachey Stache” over and over again so it threw me off😂
