@@mookiechillson I don't remember seeing that pennant. I've seen a lot of Jackie Robinson's, but he came later. I'm pretty sure it's a 1940's pennant, even could be prewar.
Love the tone and tenor of your voice, the pace, and the thoughtfulness your presentation. There is a pinhole card in Cleveland, waiting for a new home! The wait is almost over. You’ll be there tomorrow. Enjoy the Natty.
it was great meeting you as well! I will be doing a recap, much appreciated! hope you had a great time at the show it was definitely a very fun week and experience. safe travels home.
Great to get a look behind the scenes at Mookie Chillson World Headquarters! I hope in the future you open up tours of the Chillson Reserve with tastings 🤣 That Joe D partial pennant is stunning, love it pal! 👊
Tours are coming!! I showed Joe D to a vintage pennant dealer at the National who suggested I print out a copy of a full one and display that way… my wheels are turning!
Very nice of the good folks at the MCWH to put together this up close look of the Pinhole Holey Grail Wall of Fame. Nice to see a young Buckner in the fold and a very well loved Carl Furillo. Cool pennant..I think Joe was a single name superstar at the time so someone trimmed the fat off of it. I predict you will find a holey grail worthy card at the National. I think it will be a Nolan Ryan that can take the spot of the Traded ‘71 card on the wall now. Have fun at the National Mookie..safe travels
Great video, Mookie. It's awesome that you have the 1969 Milton Bradley Reggie Jackson on there. I dig that set and actually just submitted my Reggie Jackson (along with a few others from that set and the 1970 set) for grading today. - Marc
The WOF is a beautiful place filled with glory and holes! It’s funny that after sending that one card, my eyes are smears on the look out lol. See you in Cleveland
No! They’re absolutely right! And keeping good records of a historic cultural event! That’s why I love it so much. Thanks Andrew - I really appreciate the support!
I'd actually rather go to the Pinhole HOF than to Cooperstown. "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat". My only pinhole card is a 54 Larry Dooby and it's a beaut.
Great stuff! Love the DiMaggio die-cut pennant. Thanks for the shout out.
Stuke! Have you ever seen a DiMaggio pennant like that one? I wonder what year - must be 40’s
