I have one it's great.

Had one installed in my home in Durban, South Africa today esp for my Mom. Would be great if the seat was fully automatic when it turns into position. Also could be better if there was just two buttons to depress, one for an upwards and another for downwards movement in the event of someone not being able to use their hands. Other than that the installation was done expertly and the quality of the product looks marvellous. A highly recommended product for persons with arthritis or physical disabilities 👏💯

We get a lot of brooks, 1100, 950s. And many curves. We do hoists as well as through floor lifts like the Wessex and outdoor terrys step lifts

How do you change the 12 volt batteries on the 130 Acorn stairlifts

Not good to keep scooters outside. Doesn't help the battery. Outside kills them quickly due to the cold.

I bought this scooter it worked out great. I added the arm rests but personally have not used them. I used this for a week in Central London and a week in central Paris. Took it thru four airports and a TGV train. When we either folded or unfolded it we had several people standing watching with their jaws hanging open. It was so cool to watch. Used all day and never ran the battery out once. Bought the Atto Flight Kit for the airlines (definitely recommend that!) and the Europe charging kit which allows you to switch out the plug adapters. Amazing Engineering!

I have Acorn 180 curve with F6 error. Hand winding to move up few inches but still not working. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

I've got one of theses in silver i use a fob to fold and unfold but when I try to unfold it only goes up half way so im not happy because I cant use it im waiting on a reply from them but they haven't even bothered ringing me back I bought it last year from Eden its still under guarantee till October please could you help me and I wounlnt mind I paid alot of money for it

Why don't they make those Dashboards Waterproof ? ... to prevent Corrosion ! ... My speed Dials had to be replaced twice ! ... Now the Shop doesn't repair my Model ! ... It seems these things are made to break ! ... And you're forced to buy a New one ! ... Now my $4000 new one has those finicky Batteries ! ... It's almost Handicap Abuse ! ...

Best stairlift I have ever had, but the wiring loom on the handle has broken again and my nightmare landlord refuses to get the guy in who diagnosed the problem.

Stannah, would not give me a price on a straight stairlift, or even come and fit a second hand one or come and service the one I got. And I have a stannah rep close to my town.

Acorn lifts are not worth it. I had one installed for my father when mobility became an issue with stairs. The lift for some reason stopped working altogether. He had to call 911 to help him get down the stairs. I received a phone call from the police about the situation and how scared my father was. Fortunately the police stayed with my dad until I arrived. I placed a phone calls to the person who installed lift. No phone calls after a week were returned. My husband and I took it upon ourselves to take out the lift and dump it. A month later Acorn decided to return our call.

I just trialed this in Australia last week, the seat is so uncomfortable and it is not a safe scooter unless using indoors in a building on level surface..

I hope I can afford 1 before end of summer 2024
