How to buy solenoid tester sir?

How did you clean inside the wave guide? I just diagnosed this same issue on my oven. I can see a bit of grease/carbon inside the mag hole. Do they have to be spotless inside the waveguide? Can I just replace the mag, or do I need to do the cap and diode as well? Saw this recommended. Thanks!! Wish I had found your video sooner

I don’t do any refrigeration work but on a 404a ice maker machine… what would the pressures be? I know ambient temp and other variables determine that just like residential hvac pressures but like a rule of thumb?

Wow man I can’t thank you enough for creating such a informative and properly detailed guide this is a huge help for me as I have no proper training and these machines are complex as a brand new tech I know this is 4 years old but keep it up for us!!

Man, i guess if youre in buisness for yourself replacing the whole head would be the way, but ive fixed many distributor leaks like this on refrigeration and ac/heatpumps as a tech. Id rather fix the leak and be done in a few hours than leave a customer shit out of luck till we can get a new head. Jmho. To fix leak on the distributor, you need to clean well, use flux, and high heat but quickly targeted at the tube thats leaking. Oxy acetylene with a small tip is best but ive also done it many times with a turbo torch with a bit bigger tip as well years ago. That leak can always be repaired from my experience.

When brazing txv , do you use 15% or 45 ? If you use 45% , can you unsweat a 15 % brazed joint and then come back to braze it w 45%

Hey can you please tell me where i can buy parts for commercial refrigeration fridges

Have an SH1G/AB, pilot lights, spark stops 24v to MV and no main flame, pilot dies and lose 24 volts due to no pilot. This will cycle forever. So looks like I am getting flame rectification because spark will stop as soon as main valve is energized, then it all drops out. Customer has an identical unit that is no longer in use due to door damage and kept this for parts. So I have replaced pilot assembly, gas valve, Fenwal board, even 1000 ohm resistor temp sensor, ensured centrifugal switch closes. Still can’t get it to go to main flame. Would appreciate your insight on this.

2:44 - I’ve seen different numbers thrown around all over utube among HVAC/R techs. Is there a place I can find these numbers written? The numbers I see floating about are Condenser split: 20, 25, and now 30; Evap split 8, 10, 15, etc.

Place your hand over the exhaust, it will heat and stop if the flame sensor is dirty even before you take the cover off the control cabinet.

Where are you getting the 10/15F is that your superheat target number???

I am a bit confused as to how open contacts and switches are receiving voltage? Should they not be at 0 if they're open and show voltage if closed and contacted? 10:31 for example, how can the switch be open and have voltage, would it not be 0 until contact is made and the switch engages? New to Ref School thanks!
