this video was such an awesome learning experience for me. Had a few of these units that I could never get dialed in just by charging correctly. But now that I know how to dial in the TXVs I can do a way better job next time.
I might start watching your videos. Ive been about 20 yrs in the field, mostly residential and light commercial. I started working at a company that does this small refrigeration stuff and i hate it.
oh wow, i did not know that!! No wonder the rail never cools down to temp when the box is running. I always wondered how the heck the rail cools down with that high of a pressure. So it only actually cools down properly when its running by itself. Thank you so much!
Yes, took me some time to understand these types of units. Seperate the base and rail and think of them as 2 different systems and it becomes a lot easier
New subscriber, I would love to see many more videos from you, just a lot of great practical knowledge that a tech can use in the field, great knowledge really appreciate the expertise and hopefully see many more videos from you. Commenting for the algorithm
Hey can you make a video on adjusting and having the correct pressures you make it look easy and I’m still having some issues understanding what is correct pressures for reach in coolers and freezers.
@@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Thanks bud , question for a cap tube system True 2 door RIF M#TM-52F 404A 17 Oz Does the pressures change with the box temp is high? Cap tube system pressures stays consistent but does it change while the box gets colder. I’m assuming yes since pressure correlates with temperature. I did see the video you recommend but just wanna ensure myself lol
Hi, your videos are great! If you have time can you please make a video on how to properly select and install a capillary tube metering device? I was hoping to get enough understanding to design any type of cycle refrigerating and freezing. Thanks
Hi sir you video is important. But i want to know r 404 a gas -temperature walk in freezer superheat limit how °f and +temperature how many superheat limit Same like that r134 a gass superheat limit
If I had a dollar for every Randell soldered joint leak I have repaired, I could retire. Well maybe not. LOL That is very common on Randell, especially the pizza prep units.
I worked on two units from China Astoria or something like that. Both showed low pressures. High side bouncing around. Both contaminated from the factory. Changed out the driers vacuumed all good.
You are amazing, need to make more videos like this

Excellent procedure to dial it in.

Yes, I’ve seen it where it cools faster when the base is running, but that tells us the TXV is not adjusted correctly
Nice. I understand this units better now. Pizza Hut have similar and I always have trouble understanding them at first.

Yet another excellent video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Same here. I do air conditioning and the refrigeration side is somewhat a curveball.
Watch this video until you understand it fully th-cam.com/video/IL4nDK82KBU/w-d-xo.html

When the box temp is very high it will increase the suction pressure but not by a lot like a TXV.
Easy money! Nice repair!
Do you have a video on how to adjust a txv? Thanks !
Nicely done! 💪
Thanks Steve!
Excellent 👍 thank you so much. I was looking for this information all over.
Glad it was helpful!
I thought dialing in txv was for superheat numbers ? Thx
Dude. Thank you lol just worked on one at a dominos.
Lololol nice
What is the spin thing to test solenoids?

Way to go brother 😎 another great video man
Wish i can do the same with customer being all over the place too much 😂😂😂
Lol
At the 0.39 second what tool are you using?
Magnetic field detector
Man your good!
Very good job bro keep it up God bless 👍
Your mirror qualifies for a “Purple Heart.” Had a number of mirrors that looked like that.
Lol, if I didn’t continuously break them 1 week into buying them, I would replace it
👍💪❄️🇺🇸 Nice work. A lot to absorb. What’s the blue crap on copper lines? Is that dried glycol residue? Thanks for sharing
Rail section is using glycol as a heat transfer, I’m guessing?
No glycol in this unit
Is there any chance I could get a link to that knee pad, Sir?
Got it from United Refrigeration

Looking for 6-10F superheat.
Tnx for information. I am from Bangladesh. I am seeing all of your video.
I don't understand your calculation if you tell details
Superheat = the temperature of the copper line close to the TXV bulb “minus” the suction saturation temperature

We will make things right one unit at a time
Lol, yup, the brazing seems to be an issue at the factory
👍👍👍
