Any fans wanting Howe out really need to give their heads a shake!! I think you have forgotten where we were under 13 plus years of Ashley, there are clearly issues since Staveley left, some players are out of form or past their best and our last couple of transfer windows have been abysmal but thats not tge managets fault! Howe like all of us is not exempt from criticism and he has made mistakes but again anyone wanting him out needs to be careful what they wish for!

I'm disappointed with Newcastle this season. They are not gelling, passes going astray, disjointed, shakey defence, lightweight up front. Bruno playing below par, Tonali looks like he'd love to go back to Italy. Isak looks disinterested. Eddie Howe needs to turn things round soon. Congrats to Chelsea, they deserved the win.

Like wilson,Newcastle have held on to Howe too long. Pope Schar and Isak were all crap today. Our subs are poor Quality compared to City,Arsenal,Livarpool,and Chelsea.

Look lads we’ve had some rip roaring discussions on here but I’ve always respected what you have said and I have always understood your point of If I have not always agreed with it football is a game of opinions..What you have all said here is bang on we have not just stood still for 18 month we have regressed Eddie Howe tactical inflexibility and nepotism towards certain players is blatant we as a club and a fan base we were warned about Howes 1 way and 1 way only of setting a team up and 1 way playing the game that is what got Bournemouth relegated he has learned nothing since Bournemouth Howe is done he will not change he is not good enough and sooner the board find a proven winner the better..Howe out for the sake of the club the project the fan base..this constant malaise Eddie Howe always brings to every club he is at when his tactics are found out is obvious and the fan base have seen this unfold in 8k before our eyes

Remember when i said you and the club would look at sacking Eddie after a few defeats? We've had the same team for 3 years, we so obviously needed fresh faces and Eddie wasn't backed I said it so many times as soon as Mitchell has came to the club its been nowt but negative. If we get knocked out the cup - Mitchell will sack Howe.

If you stand us up, honestly, as a squad we are still years behind 10-12 other premium league clubs. We have no depth, no youth quality and absolutely no right to be demanding top 6 quality football. Competing with teams like Chelsea (bringing multiple £100m players off the bench) and our answer is to bring on Jacob Murphy and Joe Willock. Everyone is pointing out problems, but the solutions being offered are sack the coaching staff and let a dozen senior players leave because they don't deserve contract renewals. Come on. Do we need to try something new, yes. Are we in a position to do that, for many reasons, unfortunately not.

Remember when Eddie was the ‘player whisperer’? He improved players . Has this myth been exploded? Has he improved Barnes and Sandro? I would say they’ve gone backwards. Add in his favouritism to Bruno and his rigid tactics and lack of a plan B and his time’s up.

If we are sitting in this position towards the end of the season Eddie’s in big trouble. Doesn’t seem to have a plan b . Only good thing I can take from the game was our build up play towards our goal . Apart from that it was disappointing

You're spot on lads. Newcastle have been slow and ponderous for a long time but not they're just flat out boring to watch. I watched Bournemouth for over 10 years whilst living there and this is just the same one dimensional football. My mates in Bournemouth wouldn't swap their new manager for Eddie back. That says it all for me......

Eddie Howe is class.he’s been let down by the players,and recruitment.PSR,has hampered us greatly.we have an ageing,mid-table squad.

9th highest spenders in the premier league and no improvement in last two windows and maybe 3. Midfield does not look balanced and we seem to be worse prepared despite having the Monday to Friday to train. All not good inside the club either, Eales leaving a matter of weeks after Amanda is not a coincidence despite his illness. Predictable we will finish 8th but we need some signings soon.

I'm sick of the excuses. Howe has spent €500m in 3 years and the team looks like they've never played together before. It's increasingly clear that he is a limited one dimensional manager. We missed a trick not getting Tuchel or Pochettino when they were available.

The Journos are right. The set-up is predictable for everyone. And if we can see it so can the opposition's manager. We have many excellent players with one or two better than excellent. But top players can't thrive in a disjointed formation where shape and balance are not happening. It's time to change 4-3-3. Are you confident it'll happen !!?

I can imagine being a player and being excited to do the hard runs and extra work every match thinking that ownership will reward me by bringing more talent to build off my work so I could get some silverware. But now, I wouldn't be convinced that my hard work will amount to much beyond breaking down my body. as a fan...I'm getting exhausted by excuses for not building beyond status quo.

Totally agree with you Liam on our centre halves being dragged in, spun and left for dead through lack of pace time and time again. .. but WHY wouldn’t the manager address the glaring weakness .. let the forward drop into midfield, hold your defensive position and let the midfield form up in front of you ! By running into midfield and the tactic being for Bruno to cover in at centre half all you do is fragment the lines, pull everything apart and play into a side with pace .. you’d expect a top manager to see and fix that
