You hit the nail on the head regarding player form. Our best players have been largely out of form for months, but things are slowly changing. Isak has started to score regularly, Gordon looks up for it, Bruno is starting to boss games again. Add Tonali to the mix and we’re looking like the team we all hope to see every week. Long may this continue.
We have some top players.....Bruno...Isak...Big Joe...but the night blimey how good is Tonali...just smooth class....what a player...strolls through games....just class.
Great match summary as usual guys. Definitely looks like the team has turned the corner as all the players are now on their game. Obviously Sandro was the stand out player but Tino had another excellent game at full back which has tightened the ride hand side especially with Murphy also playing well.

Great for Tonali to score two. It will give him a massive confidence boost. Gordon was good too. Anthony is probably one of the best signings we made in recent times.

Sometimes that works against you because emotions take over when you need calm heads. That’s what Man Utd had in the final, two or three players who have won the biggest trophies in football and get the job done. I really hope we give a better account of ourselves if we make another final.

Schar mistimed his tackle, so fair enough, but Bruno's yellow was ridiculous. He fell into the other player. Sometimes wonder if the refs know these things going into games.

We should have scored a lot more with the chances we had. We were wasteful and against a good team we could struggle. Still the anti Howe critics have crawled back into their crevices. Thats a bonus

Definitely need to try to keep outstanding Tonali aswell as Gordon ,ISAK, Bruno, Hall, Joey, when they play well it brings out the best in the rest. Wish stupid fans would give Eddie the respect he's earn't & be grateful he wants silverware before even entertaining the England job!
If City had no issue selling Palmer to Chelsea I doubt they'd lose any sleep over selling Delap to us.
if delap had of came here he would've spent most of the season on the bench.. he plays every week at Ipswich
Sandros performance just adds more to the fact that as a 'trading' club Bruno is looking like the player that it makes sense to let go to bring in some much needed funds. If we are talking players that can bring in £50m+ then hes the likely one to leave imo. I think as a club we could potentially move on several 'lesser' players but we are running low on PL quality bodies so you run a very real risk there. Any thoughts on the window and how we will operate in it? I know EH has been quite vocal.
