A great hike with some incredible views, but i expect nothing less with the lakes. Loved watching your way up to Arnison crag, 433m is mighty impressive. As always love your drone montage over the crag and the surroundings, so epic. Thanks Alan, really enjoyed it!

I'm thinking of getting this tent, my concern is that I have never used mesh only inners, can I ask how cold the tent is in a wind, does the wind cut strait through, so any windchill factor is brought into the tent. I mainly camp in the peak district or the lakes, I have a Unna but wanted a lighter tent for summer use, but as we all know it still gets windy in spring summer on the fells and tors .. any thoughts around winds and temperature when in the inner would be great would be great

Beautiful. One of the best days of my life climbing haystacks for the first time in 2013; I now suffer with ms and can no longer walk well. This is the closest I will get, but brings back good memories. Thanks.

Hearing good things about these flextail mats but good that you’ve called out the quality of the materials. I don’t mind paying more for the thermorests knowing full well it will be replaced if any issues, even years down the line. What warranty do flextail offer?

Just got that watch now I’m home. Cracking spot that Alan. Think south west Scotland / lakes was the sweet spot for getting footage of the aurora. The footage I picked up from that night was something else

It was an absolutely epic camp spot, man, and the northern light was stunning! Thermarest is still king, and the flex tail is pretty neat.

Cracking pitch Alan clear skies and saw the northern lights (epic (stuff of dreams that mate)) The mat looked good for under a ton (4season too 👌🏻) I’ve only just gone over from a foam so they are all great from my perspective (as long as they don’t deflate)😮 ATB Simon 🤠👍🏔️

Oh hardly breath, tell me about it, I was blowing on Rannerdale Knots last week lol. Canny weather for it mind and amazing views from there too and for £90 you cannot be robbed with that mat, if it is as good as it seems. I have seen those pumps before and they look great, much better than blowing my mat up with shot lungs and regards the may, I am not bothered what it looks like, it is what is the comfort like. Nice one on the Northern Lights, I have never managed to catch them and what a great morning to wake up too and as there would be no way I could afford a Thermalrest, the Flextail would be dam fine for me. Lovely spot mate and stunning northern lights. I didn't really get them on my camp, only just saw them in photos but not with the naked eye or penis.
