Fed up of eating boring meals whilst wild camping, I decided to see what I am capable of cooking whilst on the summit of a Lake District fell, on todays menu I knock up a quick a quick pasta dish, meatballs & tagliatelle in a tomato, basil and chilli sauce with some garlic ciabatta. Hope you enjoy, and maybe give it a go yourself.

My goodness, eating well...that is marvelous!! For me, a banana for Otis and a peanut butter sandwich for me is about all the energy I have in the morning to fix up. Not so true, but some days it feels that way. LOL Take good care and have a wonderful weekend. Bruce and Otis

Yeas since I have had meatballs and a snapped rod sounds dam painful! Why eat rubbish food indeed and it did look nice but having said that, those burgers at the pub last week took some beating mind, cheers Alan

OK, I have to be the big dummy and ask a stupid question... how did you get meatballs to the top of the mountain? Do you have a cooler pack? Were they frozen when you bought them? Alright, I know, that was actually several questions! Lol
