@@wizardwandmusic6457 Joe told me about how he wrote Not So Sweet Lorraine after finding a ball point pen with the name Martha Lorraine embossed on the pen he found on the green at Berkeley and took me to where The maple glass patterns were in a tree near where Bruce Barlow made spaghetti one night on LSD. I asked him how they got away with all the drug references when The Airplane was so dogged by censors and he told me they just didn't bother to listen. Bruce Barlow came over to Joe's so I got to talk to him. I saw Joe play Bass Stings on a 12 string at Max Yasgur's farm on the Woodstock anniversary when they burned the main stage down.

My first 3 were Steppenwolf 2nd, Led Zeppelin 2 and Canned Heat (Future Blues) The FBI Kept A Eye On John Kay of Steppenwolf because of his anti government lyrics. Cheers 🎶🎶✌️
