This is one of those groups that was lost in time and became known to the general public only in 2004 after being re-released on CD. The band was English, but the album and demo were recorded during a live performance and distributed in Germany and therefore, after the release of the disc, they performed a lot in Holland, Switzerland and Norway. The most interesting thing about this work, other than the comical cover, is the mixture of styles that make the listener love or hate the album presented here. It was recorded live in some club, perhaps in Pheasantry, essentially studio quality, only a few voices and applause can be heard in the pauses. All this is slightly diluted with brass instruments, which are the highlight of the disc.
The mix of styles (featuring soul, jazz, rock, blues, fuzzed guitar and talented horn work) makes the album difficult to categorize. So listen and judge it for yourself!
keep bringing up this info, gracias ;)

Crazy Mabel looks like my sister-in-law
Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸
What time does the
Soft Parade begin?
Now, about this band. This album hit the spot. I hear a tad of Bloodhound, Sweat & Tears.
@@thomassmith8721 Happy 4th of July Thomas, Little incoherent The 3rd of July is the Wizards Birthday - the same day Jim Morrison died. Actually had Morrison's Hotel 🏨 on the turntable last night and Soft Parade (my favorite) will be there tonight. Got a LP by a band called Mad River for a present yesterday. San Francisco Psych Rock that's pretty cool. Cheers - Crawling King Snake 🐍🐍🐍🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🌵
Happy 4th to all!!🥳🎉🎆
@@IronMan-tx6mt Happy 4th of July Iron Man 🧨🎉🎉🎶🎶🎸✌️

"HAPPY" - Stones
"BIRTHDAY" - Beatles
🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂
On the Morrison Hotel album, Lonnie Mack and Ray Neapolitan were the session bass players.
"Waiting for the Sun" on MH album was omitted from the Waiting for the Sun album.
On the Soft Parade album,
the killer sax solo on
"Touch Me" was by saxman
Curtis Amy.
Celebration of the Lizard 🦎
Celebration of the Wizard 🍄
Cheers, Chi-Town Hit Man 🔫
@@thomassmith8721Waiting for the Sun confused me for awhile in the old days, thanks for the story on that song. My mind is moving faster than the Wind in Chicago and a Blue Northner in Texas. By tomorrow night I'll be done celebrating but I got Fireworks to look at later. Cheers - Blackcat 🧨🎉🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🌵

Greetings and salutations
I just got WIZARD - The Original Wizard album
1971 on CD (not vinyl)
WWM and COW would approve of this band from Tampa, FL.
ALERT!! WARNING! CAUTION!
Don't go swimming in the Gulf!
Shark attacks at
South Padre Island 🦈 🦈 🦈
No sharks in Lake Michigan,
only piranhas.
Cheers, Creature from the
Black Lagoon
@@thomassmith8721 Amigo, I've heard that Wizard album before - If I remember right it has Wizards written across the cover that is either yellow or white without art work or picture of band. COW will definitely check it out before rating it with Red Electric Guitars. Anyway cool pickup for you & would you mind me asking how much money 💰 a Wizard CD cost? Cheers - The Mud Shark 🦈🦈🦈 (Frank Zappa) Mud Shark was my nickname in the Air Force that lasted 4 yrs. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🌵
A cd copy is ok,but streaming is beter. When you need an album fast at your finger tips you have it!!!

Hello "sky pilot" (Animals)
You were in the Air Force?
Was it Ginger Baker's Air Force?
Were you top gun?
I salute you my friend.
The Wizard album is plain with
one word; Wizard across the cover and a butterfly 🦋 in the top left corner.
The CD was a gift
from my sister-in-law, not the one that looks like Crazy Mabel.
I don't know the price. I'd feel like a jamoke if i asked how much she paid. However, after she's had a little weed, a little wine, I'll ask her in a roundabout way. She's my cool sister-in-law.
The other one, crazy Mabel, is a snouty beach😂
Cheers, The Red Baron
Cze!!!Super muza, wielkie Dzięki, za możliwość poznania!!!😁😁😁😁😉😉

Thanks for sharing this band is awesome they need to start making music like this again
@@MarkSpor I agree with that 👍 thanks for listening 🎧 to this band. 👏🎶🎶🎶🎤✌️
WWM, my first message wasn't complete. I like the rendition of the Sonny & Cher classic. The song with the flute, "You Never Had It"
was Jethro Tull-ish.
Wake me up at "Tea Time" for some of that Texas tea. It's a magic potion with hallucinagenic properties.
Perfect for watching fireworks or for floating along in the soft parade.
July 3rd was the 53rd anniversary of the Lizard King"s death. He really didn't die. He just broke on through to the other side.
Amigo, T.E., enjoy the holiday
Driving Song is a Jethro Tull cover, originally released in 1969
@@Hoolaballoo great Comment 👍 I knew it was a Jethro Tull tune, I have it on the Living in the Past double album. Was wondering if anybody would notice that. 👏🎶🎶🎶🎤✌️
