Chopyn is a rock band from Britain with a single album recorded on the Jet Records label. Half of the lineup is session musicians.
The vocalist and producer of the album, Ann Odell from the , left for the > after recording the album. Musicians Ray Russell from Alan Bown, Simon Phillips - previously worked with Dana Gillespie, after the release of the album he performed with Chris Farlowe. The album is heavily influenced by progressive rock.

The first track is a cover of Wilson Pickett. That got me in gear to hear the rest of the LP.
The second track started with sort of a ZZ Top kind of riff.
Cool female vocals & keyboardist. All in all there aren't that many females on keys in rock compared to men.
The ladies know how to work those keys just as well, just saying there were less female keyboardist.
"Somebody Gotta Go" has a hint of a disco dance Latin funk vibe.
Yikes! I said disco.
Cool album. Good listening.
A grand slam is music, mota, Rolling Rock and a tab.

Yes, Midnight Hour by WP. I was wandering if somebody would notice that they did a cover of "Laughin Tackle" by Quatermass & When I bought this, I remember the guy that sold it to me told me that there were 3 cover songs on it.
