The creative biography of Canadian rock musician Neil Merryweather (real name Robert Neilson Lillie) is very extensive and truly difficult to understand. It is known that Neil began his active musical activity in the late 60s. In 1969, he created his own group Merryweather and recorded an album with it. Then there were the Heather Merrywhether projects, Merryweather again, then Merryweather, Richardson & Carry, Merryweather & Carry, Heavy Cruiser, working in studios and performing at concerts in the USA and Canada. For three years he was part of Mama Lion (remember the wonderful blues vocals of singer and beauty Lynn Carey?), and in the 80s he was part of the Eeys and Lita Ford groups. Finally, he later founded the trio Hundred Watt Head, with which he released an album (2009). I think only God knows the whole history of the work of this interesting musician. 🤣✌
Brilliant album These cats have been well and truly psychedelicised Great songs effects and playing What's the other Merryweather stuff like is it as good as this It's a Ten from Len
Grr-eat band. Killer sounds from 1969. Strong rock vocals from frontman N.M. Just a hint of Steppenwolf. There's a mean harmonica. They took psych and added progressive hard rock. Hey, WWM, the artwork on the Torchola video blows away this album cover.👣👣👣 Cheers, Shoeshine Boy
@@thomassmith8721 Hey Thomas, thanks for the review & appreciate the art comment since I designed it. (Small brag) Cheers to you for the night. I'll be listening to Robin Trower - Victims of the Fury. 🍻🍻🍻🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🍄🌵
@@wizardwandmusic6457 Wassup Rembrandt? VOTF, 👌LP. I like the album cover, too. Looks like red hot barbed wire. I'm gonna listen to Obsession album by UFO 1978. It was the last album to feature Michael Schenker on lead guitar. All or parts of the album was recorded in an abandoned post office in Los Angeles. It's a great album. UFO kicked ass throughout the 70s. I'm lucky to have seen them one time in 1978. I believe in UFOs and Bigfoot. Cheers, Space Invader
@@thomassmith8721Amigo you got to see UFO 👽 and that's really cool. I never got to see them even though Pete Way was one of my favorite Bass players R.I.P. My sister gave Obsession on Vynil a long time ago. Cover is Bent one corner but the record still plays great. Cheers - I Drive 🏎️🚕🚦🚦🚦👽⛽🚗🚘🚡
@@wizardwandmusic6457 Sorry man, I never would have guessed you designed this cover, crazy wow. My other post was as a 12 year old in '69 and I wouldn't have blindly bought it lol, That's what I meant by my other post, but yea the music is totally Canadian psychedelic.
@@wizardwandmusic6457 Hello Geezer. I'm not calling you and old geezer. No, no, no. I mean Geezer Butler, he's one of my fav bass players. Pete Way is 👌 too. No big deal about bent corners on albums. I have a lot of origin vinyl LPs with the covers/jackets in only good condition, but the vinyl is in VG condition. That's what matters most to me. It's the same with 45s. They have surface scratches and some snap crackle and pop like a bowl of Rice Krispies cereal, but they still play fine. I have a collection because I Never got rid of any records I bought. Little by little over five decades plus, the records grew into a collection. Oh yeah I must say, I'm not a fussy kind of collector. I don't need LPs, 45s in pristine condition.
