What game is at 0.39 seconds is ?

I tried 900p on my ROG Ally Z1E with your same settings and its very playable with a decent framerate at 25w.

Hey there, thanks for the video! I have a question though: First I tried -50/-50/-50 and the system crashed serveral times. After some testing I got to -20/-50/-50 and it didn't crash for weeks since then but sometimes I've got the feeling that my games stutter. For example while playing FF 15 or AC Unity, the games go from locked 40 fps to the low 30's sometimes. But other times it feels like both game run smoothly in 40 fps. I'm really a bit confused. Can the undervolting be the reason for that kind of behavior?

ProtonDB is also for Linux Compatability in general. whilst steam's rating is just for the Steamdeck. so better to use both rather then only 1 because on my linux PC game might run fine. but if you can only get 14fps on steam its unplayable for the steamdeck

Great video. I have the 1Tb steam deck oled. Would get Rog Ally X as I really want to play Black Myth wukong. Don't think it would be a great experience on deck. Your points about constant updates, and sleep mode are really off putting. And fans kicking it. Steamdeck way it feels in hand is unmatched in my opinion. Thanks again keep the good work up. 👍

Get the ally, download bazzite and it’s now a steam deck, download lossless scaling and now you get double or triple the frame rate that you would get originally. 60fps red dead 2 in ultra, helldivers in 50fps in high. They don’t even compare. Do your research, the steam deck is a weak system. I have both.

Should up your UMA Frame buffer as well. It will improve your performance across the board as well.

I only wonder what the Steam Deck 2, or even Switch 2 will offer.

This is the biggest benefit of this product. Deck becomes a desktop PC 5) You didn't know where your steam deck was and it wasn't charged. As an adult who doesn't live in a labyrinth this wasn't an issue for me

with all these handheld gaming devices and all the ones that are coming out, windows needs a portable version, tailored for systems like these. but i wouldn't hold my breath until microsoft makes it

Ally is more powerful ... but not that much honestly. It's not like you will play much more games than on the Deck. That and that OLED screen is just a work of art. Seriously, it is so good. And I can't go back to having no touchpads.

What's the point of testing both devices in HD? 800p is native Steam Deck resolution and it looks good on this screen. But Ally X has 1080p screen and 720p games look pretty bad. You don't want to pay for 1920x1080 screen and use it only in 720p. Just set native resolution on both and test it in real scenario. You know, its like testing CPUs power at low settings and low resolution. But nobody plays witch such settings in reality

Not sure where the 0% performance came from, but my Ally X at equivalent or similar resolution is significantly faster than Steam Deck which many AAA games are unplayable.

no it's simple -rog ally x is absolutely better than a steam deck - if you're a pc player and you know windows and are used to tinkering like most pc players are, then go rog ally x - you'll get way better performance and no limits to what you can play

I don't know if this is true or not, but I read that if you can play with it always plugged in that will extend the life of your steam deck overall because there is little to no tax on the battery!!

I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from kislux for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

I just bought a fake kislux and I love the fact that I didn't have to spend 3-4k on it. Yes, it's beautiful, but it's just a bag and no one cares if it's real or fake. I have a lot of real stuff that no one cares about.

I like the kislux . I find these bags to be very durable and I’ve bought several for under $300.

Man, my forearms just cramped up seeing your hands and fingers holding the ROG ally….WTF man how can you hold a device that un-ergonomically and not return it immediately. Was my biggest issue with the switch, but somehow the ROG is even worse. You you don’t have TINY hands, forget the Ally.

I had two steam deck before lcd and oled after someone buy oled from me with extra money 💰 I sell it now I had lcd model I really miss the oled screen but I really the buttons and plastic looks weak compared to the lcd model and I feel there things in the orgianl like [ audio, buttons, plastic power] looks better than the oled model I really which if lcd deck was 7.4 or bigger screen

I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. If you are also looking for niche yet fashionable products, kislux is definitely your best choice. There are many treasures hidden here that have not been discovered by the public

The Oled screen on the Steam Deck is just ao much better than the Ally X to a point I literally don’t care about specs. If the screen is not Oled no thanks 😁
