Bought a City Rider 3 eight months ago. I really like to ride it off road the most usually on what they call "crushed granit" paths in Austin, Tx. I havent found any good info on maintenance. I know I did read something that it is rougher on the board than street riding. I tried one time to take the wheels off and clean around the motor and put it back on but regretted it once I had it apart and rather not do that again or rarely. There's too many pieces and paper thin washers. I noticed one belt had a small little nick in it after riding and switched it out with the spare. Anyway I am looking for repair/maintenance advice or source.
Honestly, if you just like to carve a lot, TKP or RKP will work well too. Simply loosen them up and use cone bushings on the roadside, or opt for lower durometer bushings up front-or a combination of these adjustments. I find that DKP trucks only excel when sharp turns are necessary. When it comes to carving, DKPs don't offer a significant advantage over loose TKPs or RKPs. Additionally, TKPs and RKPs don't need to be overly tightened for high-speed stability, allowing you to carve and maintain high speeds with medium-tightness settings.
I bought the cheap version of the hurricane bamboo which seems to be exactly the same as the city rider 3 other than using the m6s remote and I love it. If you are upgrading from the v4s like I did or a similar board it's absolutely worth it
@@sam.alexander.reviews I know the feeling, you make a great video but because it’s not a “Top 5 best games for steam deck” and your core audience isn’t that interested in it - TH-cam just doesn’t push it out🥹 Keep doing a great job pal💪
nice good stuff. just fyi, your input on riding average speed of 20-30mph. do a range test again. do ur normal style of riding and use a GPS app. you will see ur average speed isnt even close to 25mph let alone 30mph. point is, a lot of riders think there average riding speed is wayyy higher which affects there range (which is true) . but you will notice your average speed is anywhere from 14mph to 21mph based on your riding footage. when u say after 25 u are getting speed wobbles, it shows ur actually not at that average speed. also, u absolutely can keep it up above 25-30mph if u practice. lots of folks feel the unstable feeling and quit. if u keep practicing, u can/will get better and u will have best of both worlds. first board i hit 40mph is meepo hurricane carbon fiber which is. dkp.. just some friendly advice to really get all the value from your board ✔️💯✅. keep the esk8 content coming 💯💯

Ohhh I don’t know of any repair services order than Meepo themselves, I’m sure there are if you google in your area
