Fare una prova con Anschutz 54 e CCI è un insulto alla carabina.
Man, the whole reason I watched this video was to see that rail mounted bag in action. I recently purchased a ruger rprf that I am building for NRL22 and am in the process of DIY a rail mounted bag rider and bipod so your videos on those projects are giving me good ideas.
Glad I could help! There are many ways to DIY gear for PRS for sure. I would say a plate with ARCA clamp for ladders and strap stages is probably my favourite. Mine is a square piece of aluminum with a yoga mat glued to it.
Nice setup! Still the factory barrel? Mine was not an original VPT, as my build started as the American in a synthetic stock which I bought for just the receiver. If you have seen my vids on the Flyweight trigger, I highly recommend it
I have the same rife. EGW 20 MOA rail, Sunfoto scope rings, Riton Conquer 7 3-18X50, Yo Dave trigger spring kit, Versa pod bipod, adapter and Glades Armory bolt handle. Handle didn’t change head space on mine. Gun is extremely accurate. I live in the states. But my family is from Canada. Still have relatives in London Ontario.
Always appreciate your knowledge on these things
Love old knives too! ❤
Right!?
Excellent find! Local heritage is cool too! Imagine the stories that it lived through.
That is a awesome find for 8 bucks is great, the snap and timeline it was made in is the most impressive.
Totally. $8 is a steal
Никогда не видел на столько навороченной мелкокалиберной винтовки
Lovely little rifle
Yes, it sure is! Thanks for the comment
Dumb accurate lest recoil than a BB gun rifle must be heavy for a .22
Hey there, it is lighter than most rifles for this type of match. It is around 16lbs as you see it
22. Gross
You probably can’t hit the side of a barn dude

@@liamfrench3090you saying that with a Sal pfp is too funny
It’s actually .22 not 22.
I could do that with a savage 99
No doubt!
Just beautiful!
I was amazed at the accuracy of an anschutz 54 match,,, made in 67, would like to see the accuracy potential of that one.
It is a .22LR laser beam, especially in his hands
DANG I LOVE that toggle-bolt,....I need one before I kick here any day !!!
La tira chinas 2000
It is a beautiful rifle
Smooth is fast and that trigger pull, smooth as silk.
What a joke! I would have done that with my standard Anschutz 1416 without an expensive Vortec sniper scope and all that tactical tralala on my rifle and hanging on my body.
Hey thanks for the comments. Those bags are most definitely not impractical and are just the ticket for unstable barricades when transitioning and speed are key. I would say that modern “snipers” have much of the same gear because it would help them make the best effective shot and I’m quite sure they would gear up as much as possible whether they are in the field is shooting a match. There are different classes in many different PRS style matches if someone wants to be more basic. The shooter featured in this video is one of the top ranked shooters here in Canada and probably would still have won the match with a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.
Funny how guys have tactical rigs and even choose tactical colors then have impractical bags strapped to their rifles and body. I think NRL and PRS need to get away from competition comforts. Isn't the point of these types of competitions suppose to be sniper oriented?
I forgot my bolt on a trip to the range recently and borrowed a friends form his identical valmet..it did work ok but fitment wasn't slick so each bolt must be hand fitted at factory.
Oh yes for sure they would be.
Nice
Thank you!
I am so sick of these TH-cam videos with people thinking there d*** hand models.
Nice job on thumb rest
Thanks for info I saw your videos on #4. Was impressed with accuracy and your improvements.
Thank you. Appreciate the info. Brno action is much smoother than 453. Will look for another Brno. Eventually. Cheers
No problem! I would try a 455 because the ability to put a flyweight trigger on it and a match barrel is very very nice
@inrangerimfire20two I appreciate any and all advice. I did miss out on a 455. Next time I guess. Do like your Mod 4
Oh too bad. The 4 is an amazing rifle, but the stock configuration is suitable for apertures/sights only as the comb is very low making scope height an issue. After I made the stock for mine it transformed the rifle and I used it for rimfire competitions and that rifle has won a few matches.
Hi just wondering. Do cz455/Cz457 barrels fit Brno 2 4 5 models. As far as your question Brno 2 for me
Hey there, thanks for comment. CZ 455/457 barrels do not fit the older 452/Brno models as they are threaded barrels to receiver. The 455(7) use a completely different setup.
I've had numerous CZs-BRNOs throughout the years my first one was a very nice #1 BRNO with "tgf" on the top of the receiver, beautiful wood on it. Then I got a CZ 452 Style, should have kept it because of the mat brush chrome finish. Then I got a CZ 452 Ultra Lux with that 28.7" barrel, shooting CCI QUIETS it sounded like a SUPRESS weapon. 😮😊 I was laid off from my REAL JOB back in 2008 and unfortunately those rifles got on the CHOPPING BLOCK!!😮😢😢 SINCE THEN I've been trying to get some of the toys I had to sell back in 2008-09. Now I have a BRNO#1 with a burl maple stock that's BEAUTIFUL and a BRNO #2 (1972) but unfortunately it got a little bit TOASTED in a FIRE in my BEDROOM at 3AM, I'm LUCKY TO BE ALIVE!!! It got rusted up by being in a rug that got wet when the Firemen came. Oh I almost forgot to tell you about my UAR BRNO that I have but someone MOLESTED IT, cut the barrel down to 20" and cut the rear tangent sight off so can only use a scope which isn't that bad because it's capable of long range shooting. Keep up the good work and videos. 😊😊
when are you going to show us how to adjust the trigger into 1 1/2 lb?
can you show us how to adjust the trigger to 1 and 1/2 lbs?
Hey there, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I cannot show these modifications due to TH-cams policy on such things.
I've never seen this type of anschutz before with two triggers like that, what's that all about?
It’s a Hunters “set” trigger on this 64 model. You pull the one trigger normally, or if you want an extremely light trigger you pull the other one first. I have a video on it.
Make sure you lubricate stainless on stainless threads. Notorious on galling. Otherwise nice build . Great ideas
I’ve got a mk1 identical to this my grandad bought it new in 1981 it’s 2 years older than me.. mines .22 but great air rifle
The Anschutz magazines look alot like Winchester model 69 magazines
What year was your Krico 300 made? Looking for Krico 22RF catalogues for my collection, in particular one with green background in English, this catalogue has all the models, bolt action, semi-auto, models 150, 260, 300, 320. I have a Krico 22RF catalogue in French, purple/white background, I can scan to you if interested.
BRNO Model 2 1962-68 22RF these where the best years of manufacture before Russian invasion of Czech, afterwards quality fell away. i like the short bolt stroke design, compact action, proven reliability. A pro rabbit shooter in Oz used one with Boyds thumb hole stock, he shoots 100-180 pairs a night, ave 49 rabbits for 50 shots, all head shots. He replaced the factory barrel after 200K(4yrs shooting) with a SS Madco(Oz make), generally replaces barrels every 200K, scope Ziess Conquest 4-14x44. Ammo Win 555 or Super Speed. I will stay with my Krico 320 22RF, same accuracy as BRNO/CZ. Never seen a Win 52 or Annie 64/54 so cant compare.
I do similar with velocitors. 51.9, 52.0, 52.1 are the core weight majority. Get about 35 ish out of a box of 50. Rest of the weights range from 51.6 to 52.3. It has eliminated those WTF flyers alot. I do the same with 40 gr mini mags, blazer which is extremely accurate, and the Small game bullet which seems to be no longer made. Those last 3 all 1235fps and same poi with weighed out blazer being sub .5" grouping Velocitors are .5" 10 shot groups at 50 yds when weighed out. Bad juju for squirrels.
Great video, Krico 300's changed from early to late manufacture, yours is late rifle, mine(1969) has a trigger pull back to remove the bolt. I thought Krico where a pinned barrel, I will check mine, confirm Krico used Walther barrels. Krico 300 models vary, there is a 300, 302, 302AL, 320, my 320 is deluxe without checkering on fore-end, schanable black tip, without cheek piece, pistol grip cap with white line, butt the same, up graded walnut stock, 25" barrel.
The barrel on my Krico is pinned.
Really appreciate this video, I have a Krico 320 1969, starting to get miss fires from light firing pin stick, I was thinking might be need a bolt clean or new spring? The bolt on this rifle has never been stripped, the bolt shroud in cone shaped. Any ideas? If possible could you do a video on how to disassemble, adjust, replace springs, much appreciated. Back ground, a gunsmith played around with the trigger, tried change from a 2 stage pull to single stage and lighted the trigger by replacing the spring. In short he stuffed it, another gunsmith who specializes in triggers said he have never seen a trigger like it, I posted the trigger to him, he could not adjust it properly without the action, posting firearms is a major problem now in Australia.
A bolt clean always helps, but adding a small helper spring then a washer then the factory spring can help shim the old tired spring with some preload. You have to play around and experiment with this method as the bolt will bind if too much is used. I would order a bag of mixed coil springs from Amazon eBay etc and have some fun!
@@inrangerimfire20two Thanks, I will give it a try. The bolt assembly is different than your late model(1984?), there is a very fine screw that looks like it holds the bolt shroud in place, when removed looks like shroud is screw off. I have adjusted the trigger now working OK, the Krico trigger housing is set by spaces to give the correct high to engage the trigger & bolt, too high and bolt is decocked when closing the bolt, too low trigger not engaged and bolt stop does not work. Agree, Krico rifles are beautifully engineered and made, no machining marks, probably the same or better than Anschutze. Brno/CZ are a great design and shoot well but the Krico is better made & finished. I far as I know BRNO where the only 22RF with a screwed in Barrel, correct?
Someone please tell me the make and model of that stock I must have one.😮 PS besides the usual places does anyone have any idea where I can find magazines All I have is a single shot mag The 10 rounders are impossible to find. Thank you in advance.
Well hello there, and thanks for the comments. I made the stock myself from a sheet of Birch plywood from The Home Depot. It cost me about $100 all in and that includes, the plywood, glue, epoxy, and stain/finish. It was not my first stock project and I used only common hand tools etc. I cut the inlet with a Dremel and chisels.
@@inrangerimfire20two hello, I've always been a high-end 22 rimfire guy. You know ,anshutz,54's 40-x's ect... Then I acquired a Brno #4 made in 58, beautiful shape, I've looked high and low for a BR50 style stock but it doesn't seem to exist. So when I saw your stock I fell in love with it immediately. Is there any chance that you would make one and sell it because your gun and mine are twins. PS... Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. All your videos are informative and I just can't stop watching I hope you never stop making them. As you don't need me to tell you anything on the number fours is as hard to find as unicorns.
I just aquired a model 4 and love it. Where did you find the stock you have on yours?
Hey there, congrats on the new toy. I made the stock myself from a sheet of Birch plywood from the Home Depot
Hi, in this video you mentioned making another video showing how to lighten the trigger pull. I have a1948 M75 and am interested in tweaking the trigger. Is it possible to get info on what you did to your trigger? Also, have you played with action torque to fine tune?
Hey there, I did make a video, but TH-cam does not like that type of content and I was warned with a strike action. I therefore had no choice but to remove all content that would put my channel at risk. I apologize for this, but TH-cam does not support the firearm community whatsoever.
Is there any chance I could get a private copy of the video? Or can you direct me to a good resource? I would be willing to purchase a copy of your vids. Thanks! @@inrangerimfire20two
Bought a set from Lance and he sent all the way to Blighty for just an extra dollar! What a lovely guy.
Legend!
Great explenation! Thanks!!
I have one but i lost a mag
Oh what a shame! A Savage MK2 mag can be made to fit
Ok
Absolutely true. I did for information purposes for the viewers of this video and keeping my finger over the “hammer” as I did would remove any risk of course. Thanks a lot for your comments
Dry firing a DST when it is out of the stock is not recommended. It puts a lot of wear on the mechanism. Regards, Andyd173 aka Anschutzking
