Nice results from something with years under its belt. I meant the rifle by the way. I think it's a good range day taking something older like this and seeing what it can do. With older bores especially those with unknown history, trialing different ammo selections can yield surprising results sometimes. My friend has a very old Remington and it shoots best with plain Blazer 40gn. Sometimes the trial and error of experimenting with older rifles is half the fun!

I appreciate your input and believe me- I never would have willingly filmed the video in such circumstances, but the match director was kind enough to allow us to shoot during their match, so I did my best. I absolutely can film a video, we’re you thinking with SK? I only use my Anschutz 1413 (54) with Apertures, but I can scope for testing.
@@inrangerimfire20two Understood , but no, not just with SK ammunition, I can`t buy much ( if any ) SK ammo. here where I live. I use Remington and CCI é Federal. I have two 1416 rifles of which I know not much:), but one has a heavy or bull barrel no sight, so scope inly, the other much older with a standard barrel and iron sights. These are good and accurate rifles to shoot with. I am not a competitive shooter, I target shoot only for my own enjoyment. I`d just like to see other Anschutz rifles being used to compare what my rifles do to what you may get.
