@@kaimichael5444 Hi, thank you so much for the kind comments and your time spent watching. I use 6 or 8mm pellets and just about cover them in bolling water about an hour or so before needed. I prepare my own hemp so I use that water. Hope this helps and tight lines.

Thank you so much Martin, the birds are starting to sing at dawn its just robins and wrens at the moment but i do fancy i heard a skylark a few days ago.

I haven't fished rivers for years ,been single minded fishing big pits for pike ,I live so close to the river hull and it is a lovely setting in places ,I'm hooked on river fishing after watching your videos, who knows what monster pike are swimming in rivers .😊tight lines m8 .
