    This channel says it all, just pure delight, calming, and just makes my day, thank you for the effort, and well done.

      Hi Jozse, I glad the relaxed vibe came across because I set off wanting a relaxed day by the river instead of the usual roving approach.
      I've got some interesting films in the pipeline but is there anything you would like to see ?
      Thank you for your continued support and time spent commenting.

    Another enjoyable video. Loved the night footage, I thought for a moment that you had another fish on! Well done on the earlier chub in difficult conditions.

      Hi Harry, I was hoping for a trotting film but alas the river had other ideas. I was thinking of you when I included the night clip and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you as always for your loyal support

    Another enjoyable video, I think I will be watching plenty of these in the coming weeks,as I've just had surgery to remove my gallbladder.I have to take it easy for the next four to six weeks. I don't know what is worst, the op. Or not being able to fish.😊

    I been watching you channel and I love this style or format you applying where it's pure fishing without the bull s....t and your camera work is excellent I do every type of fishing from Marlin ( abroad ) seafishing in anglesey chalkstreams for barbel pike wild river carping even pole fishing and catfish I've always wanted to experience all aspects without limitations I it would be great to see some underwater camera work such as fish feeding or taking a bait or perhaps some chalk stream salmon fishing because as beautiful it is on rivers we always wonder what us it like beneath the water and thank you for such a awsome channel it what I've been waiting for❤

      Hi Jozse, Thank you for replying there's is so much in your impressive CV I'd like to cover on this channel although I dont think Mrs Silent Angler would sanction a Marlin trip. I contemplated getting a Salmon licence for my local river Usk however I felt it would be a case of chasing unicorns as there's so much angling I want to share, I guess one life isn't enough. I experimented with underwater filming during the summer and found it like yourself fascinating. However when editing a film it just didn't work, I felt the mystery of what lies beneath the surface was lost. Thats what captured my imagination as a child and perhaps it might inspire someone to grab a rod and head for a river somewhere.
      Thank you as always for your support.

    That first peg you we're fishing looked like a peg another well known bearded Panama hat wearing angler was fishing in his video and if it is you have the bragging rights. 🤣 Funny how them blackbirds always let you know when those tawny's start turning there heads . 👍

    Many of my spots are still plagued by the mighty minnow, I make my own paste in a blender from pellets with fish oil added.

    • @silentangling
      @silentangling  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Steve, Thankfully the bleak seemed to of vanished around these parts. I must admit I never go far without a small pot of pellet paste but I never added fish oil so thanks for the tip and thank you as always for your support

      @@silentangling Welcome. I add fish oil into blitzed halibut pellets and smoked paprika oil into robin red pellets. My theory is that in colder water the paste needs a bit of help to leach out its flavour. It can even be frozen. Adding egg means it has to be used fresh though.
