Absolutely stunning video, truly the essence of a summer's morning fishing, simply wonderful, tight lines, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
Hi, I have truly enjoyed this summer, apart from the early mornings. Spending so much time in the river is always so rewarding not only for the mind but it certainly feeds ones soul. many thanks as always for your continued support.
@@anotherangleUK thank you as always for your fabulous support and encouragement. I shall be popping into your channel over the coming days to catch up on your fishing adventures.
Hi Steve, The Wye valley never fails to put on a show and I'm just lucky enough to be there to capture it, although the occasional barbel does help, thank you as always for your support.
Fantastic mate, so good to see you back, watching this while eating, Bacon and Pasta, with a coffeeto wash it all down, I think there is a pheasant with a sore throat lol, love those early morning mists, and a reall master has come home, many thanks mate, and I cant wait to see more.
@@cliveeariss880 Hi, Clive I've just started to catch up on your fishing vlogs and the pike video was most exciting. Thank you sincerely for your support and encouragement and hopefully fishing will start to improve as autumn approaches.
Great to see you back for a new river season! The dawn chorus was really special. Well done on a cracking barbel so early in the season. I started on the Trent in opening week only to discover that the barbel had just started spawning. I’ve had two trips to the Wye and the same number to the Trent but it has been a real struggle for barbel with the rivers so painfully low. Plenty of chub though.
Hi Harry, The Wye has been a hard mistress so far this season but has continued to keep me entertained with her many moods. Hopefully our fishing shall begin to improve with the arrival on the equinox and dare it say it rain. Thank again for your tremendous support with the channel and wishing you tight lines.
@@albionangling Hi, many thanks for taking the time to watch and especially commenting, it's humbling to hear such kind feedback from an established TH-cam channel. Thanks again
Hi Martin, Ive found it to be a difficult summer fish wise but the Wye never fails to keep me entertained with its ever changing moods. Many thanks for the support.
Hi Oliver, It a technique that is well worth the time in mastery as its by far the most complete way to fish a river and a barbel on a float rod and centre pin is pure adrenaline. Many thanks for your time spent in both watching and commenting.
@@silentangling not very well had a bad fall down the bank on the river trent just b4 christmas not got over it been to local canal nothing very exciting oh well thats how it goes you take care yourself
@@alanrichardson7790 Hi Alan, I sorry to hear that your recovery is taking longer than expected and hopefully you'll be able to find some better quality fishing as the season progresses. Take care and keep fighting.
@@harryturner3063 Hi Harry, It's the Drennan Eva pouch the zip can be a bit sticky at times but I certainly put it through its paces by squashing it down to fit in a bag at it's held up. I noticed a few other brands are offering the same item just branded differently. Hope this helps and thanks again for your support.
Excellent Angling film, I can see the amount of planning that’s gone into each shot. Very atmospheric 👍🏻

I’m still yet to master the float for chub and barbel, great vid. The fly buzz at 5:45 ish made me flinch 😂
